Joining the chorus of reviewers stating that this place is overpriced, even for MCM. They were selling things in poor condition (e.g. a Bodum salt and pepper shaker set with a VERY rusted and corroded nail for $32, still filled with some person's old salt and pepper ). I've been to much, much better antique shops in the Bay Area (e.g. Antiques Unlimited) with more interesting things. They also were charging a 4% credit and debit card transaction fee for all purchases, which I thought was really tacky considering they had such high prices on their furiture and even none of the thrift shops on the same road did.
Also, the workers there are rude. A white woman, who appeared to be a manager, ignored me for five minutes while I stood 2 feet away from her and was the only customer there before asking me if I had any questions. It wasn't until I inquired about restoring an expensive MCM piece that they started talking to me like I was a real customer they were interested in. I'm not sure if they were discriminating against me because I'm Asian or if I didn't seem wealthy enough based on my clothes. I didn't experience any weirdness at any of the thrift shops on this road. Seems like they cater to gentrifying white hipsters in this area (hah, good luck, I sure didn't see any around today, thank goodness!)
Edit: lol, they called the corrosion on the salt shaker a "patina!" you definitely would not be able to remove that. I find it interesting that there are many reviews at their other location about discrimination against minority shoppers, yet they deny discrimination. And that the vendors are "not required to engage with customers"--that sounds really awful for a...

Read moreIt’s great to see this business in the East Bay. And there’s parking 🅿️ too. I enjoyed perusing quite a few of the collections and wall art. And unlike most antique malls, most furniture items were in very good condition. Some examples include Heath, Lane, Drexel, Mikasa, Dansk.
Ps. I don’t think prior reviewers understand how antique consignment malls work; Each individual seller has a section to curate, display and price their own...
