If you're looking for a truly unforgettable vegan dining experience, Shangrila Buddha Organic Vegan Restaurant is an absolute must-visit! Every time I'm in the Bay Area, I make it a priority to stop by because the food and service are simply unbelievable. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy a nourishing meal.

What makes this place so special? Simplicity and quality. They serve just one dish per day, but trust me—it’s always incredible! Each meal is carefully crafted with fresh, organic ingredients, delivering a perfect balance of flavors and textures. It’s comforting, satisfying, and you can taste the love and care put into every bite.

I also love that everything here is 100% organic and vegan, making it a guilt-free indulgence that leaves you feeling amazing afterward. Plus, the portions are generous, and the complimentary tea adds an extra touch of warmth to the experience.

Whether you're a dedicated vegan, a health-conscious foodie, or just someone who appreciates delicious, wholesome meals, Shangrila Buddha is the place to be. Don’t miss out—this hidden gem will leave you craving...

Usually I have wonderful experiences here, the food is incredible. However tonight I was very offended by the rude customer service I received. I called to place an order about 15 minutes before closing and told them we were on the way and would be there in 10 mins. When I arrived right at 8 or a couple minutes after, the door was locked although there was still people eating inside. I knocked and the waiter came to the door to tell me the restaurant was closed. I mentioned I was there to pick up then the waiter turned around and walked away from the door leaving it locked. They began serving other customers and checking them out, ignoring me. I only got in a few minutes later because another customer left the restaurant. When I got inside I could see the bag of food waiting on the table. I mentioned the door was locked to the waiter and she told me I should have come earlier. If the restaurant was not going to allow me to pick up the food, they should not have accepted my order at the time that I called. Angered and disappointed by this experience at a place I...

I never would have thought to come here if not for a friend's recommendation, but this place was sooo good. I'm visiting from out of state, and this place was probably one of my favorite places I've ate at in the bay (and I've had a lot of good food this week!).

There's no menu options besides choosing between a medium or large plate. Food was very refreshing and tasty. I would get the large next time so that I could take leftovers home, but for one meal the medium was plenty. Staff was kind and attentive. The free tea was also very nice. I personally wouldn't recommend the mango pie because I don't like coconut too much, but it may be other...

If you have any kind of taste buds, run, don't walk to eat here. Vegan or not, you'll love this. I got it to go but part of me wishes I had stayed to eat as they have a nice variety of spices and sauces at eat table to add to your food, but mine didn't actually need anything added. It was amazing, perfectly seasoned, salted and, cooked to perfection. Each item on my plate had it's own distinct flavors that worked well with everything else on the plate. Would give 10 stars if I could. I've been vegan a while now and it was my first time there. Very very impressed!

I took my mom here for lunch. We loved it! The menu is basically whatever the chef decides, 2x/day. But there were a variety of well prepared, delicious vegan and gluten free foods included. I had the best lentil soup ever, and the perfectly prepared black beans with ginger and onions were mouthwatering. Even though mom didn't care for the creamy collard greens with kale (I liked it just fine), she had plenty to eat. Tea or water is included, and we shared the key lime pie for dessert- yummy!

This place is truly such a gem. Such cozy foods that will nourish you from the inside out. Feels home cooked with love. My only wish for them is to use olive oil and avocado oils only! Seed oils like canola oil and sunflower oil are highly inflammatory and hard on the digestive system. Once in awhile I don’t mind, but I would definitely eat here more often if they used good oils exclusively as I know my body could tolerate it much better! All in all, grateful for an organic vegan spot to have locally!
