The number one thing I want to say about the Hobby Lobby store is Wow!! What a great store, not only for a truly great shopping experience . It's name says it all but as I've found out that it's much, much more than that, for those of us who indulge ourselves in any given hobby. You're truly going to find anything you want pertaining to that hobby here at this store. They have everything and I mean everything for the hobbyist in you. If you're an artist and love to draw or paint they've have everything you need right there at your finger tips. You'd have to see it to believe it if you need anything as far as painting supplies. I myself am into coin collecting and low and behold, I found not only literature on coin collecting but also , items that I personally didn't expect to find except through the mail. No longer though they have a section of the store dedicated to coin and stamp collecting. Everything I need to make my particular hobby much more gratifying. The store itself is unique as they have something for everyone, young and old so to speak. They carry many unique and unusual items as well as far as housewares that you won't find anywhere else. At the moment, since it's the Christmas season they have an extensive selection of Christmas items on sale that you won't find anywhere else also. Actually folks the list goes on and on you'd have to visit the store itself to see what I'm talking about and, I'm almost certain that you won't be disappointed. One thing that happened to me personally I was looking all over the place for a nice lamp. As everyone may know lamps aren't cheap, particularly if you're looking for a nice one. Shopping for lamps can be quite daunting and to be honest I don't have the money to pay for a lamp that costs 80 to 100 dollars for a really nice one. Also I didn't want a cheap one either, long story short. I found a lamp at the Hobby Lobby store that not only made me happy when,I saw it but it was everything,I was looking for in a lamp. It was stylish and the best part of the deal is that,I got it for half price cause it was on sale for half price. Retail for 60 bucks and I paid well 30 . Take about being happy looks good and I saved money. Seriously though folks the Hobby Lobby store is a gem. Great place to shop, they have ample parking and parking for the disabled and entrances. The staff is great and always willing to help with what you may need, it's funny but even the customers are willing to help you out. I think I've said enough, seeing is...
Read moreThe only reason im rating this store one star is because of the employees. I went in looking for a simple box to organize some beauty products. I found something that was an idea of what I had in mind and asked an older lady for help. She was probably in her 50s or so with grayish hair. First she seemed kind of perturbed and annoyed that I'd asked for help on finding something similar to this "idea" box. So she led me to the wood craft aisle where I found more something I was thinking of. I was there with my husband who was ready to go home and a cranky 2 year old toddler I was trying to tend to while shopping. After finding what I needed I set the old item I didn't need on an end cap so I could continue my shopping. I then went an aisle over to look at the acrylic paint. as i was browsing colors, I hear two female employees gossiping about "Oh i know i had this one lady (customer) come up and ask me if we had....)" about 10 mins later I see the lady I'd asked for help earlier, appear on the opposite end of the aisle I'm on (i dont think she realized I was still standing there shopping)she grabs the box i had set down and goes: "seriously?! she just dropped everything!" First of all I am there to shop and find and purchase my item as quickly as possible. Second, I am choosing to spend MY money in YOUR store. I'm NOT there to do YOUR job and put your stores merchandise away. That is what you were hired to do and is in your job description. If you had a problem you should have applied to a call center where all you have to do is sit on your butt all day. I love hobby lobby the store and all the products they offer and I like shopping at christian run businesses. BUT the management should really teach their employees to keep their mouths shut. That looks really bad and rude on your business and should not be reflecting a company like that as a whole. Hire more...
Read more@ Vanessa Alexandra Don't worry.. they accuse everybody of stealing ... I bought some "homemade" stickers. When it was all said and done I stuck them in my bag and left (like to go green so I usually don't ask for a plastic bag if I don't need it) I got a few steps past the door and the alarm blared. I took them out with the receipt and show that I had paid for it and apparently one of them wasn't rung up. I immediately asked to be re rung up to pay it was I think a $0.99 sticker. All of the sudden in front of about 20 people the manager pointed at me with his index finger and said if that ever happens again I would be charged with trespassing. I explained that I put them on the counter and the only reason they are in my bag it's because it's a shopping bag. He didn't care and it was totally embarrassing now every time somebody looks at me they give me a dirty look like I'm some thif... I was so excited I go to craft stores 3 times a week and I thought this is my new store I even gave him a good review oh well guess they don't care about their customers they're more interested in the money and...
