Stay Old Town Road — Local services in Albuquerque

Location and New Mexico style and comfort! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa de Abuela. The casa was well appointed for our 3-wk stay and met all of our needs for staying in an authentic New Mexico adobe style house with modern comforts. It literally was a home away from home! The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and the fireplace provided relaxing and cozy evenings. You can’t beat the location with a 5-min walk to Old Town and its many restaurants and shops or a 7-min walk to the Sawmill Foodhall Market and its festive atmosphere. Additionally, there are 4 major ABQ museums in the neighborhood surrounding the park. We traveled with our dog and were able to take advantage of the beautiful park directly across the street as well as the dog friendly Ponderosa Brewery Company, also about a 7-min walk away. Definitely take your dog there! The parking area is gated and there are outdoor areas to enjoy in the complex and take in starry nights or enjoy the New Mexico sunshine. Easy access to I-40 and I-25. My stay at this Airbnb was truly a blessing. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, safe, and at peace. The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home.

The neighborhood was quiet and charming, and everything I needed was nearby. The host was kind, responsive, and respectful of my space, which I truly appreciated. Whether I was relaxing after long festival days or enjoying a quiet morning to myself, this place gave me everything I needed—and more.

My wife and I were in Albuquerque for a conference and the Stay Old Town Road house was a great choice. It was clear from the moment we arrived that the owners pay close attention to detail: the place was immaculately clean, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware, and the throw pillows and blankets make the place very cozy. The only slightly negative comment I would make is that the floor incline for the shower is not quite steep enough, so the bathroom floor gets wet, but that problem is easily resolved with the helpful squeegee that is provided.
