This place has really been slipping. It used to be so good. For the price you pay, you expect a nice dining experience. My beef tenderloin came out almost well done, the chicken was dry (isn't this what you all boast about being a specialty, Seasons Rotisserie?) the trout was described as 'meh' but we didn't send any of it didn't send it back because we don't like wasting. But we did let them know. The remedy was a free desert, which none of us wanted desert, so... Also, the pace of the meal was so off. It felt like we were waiting forever at every stage. It was at least 45 minutes to an hour from when we finished our appetizers to when the food came out. The server, slender male with longish salt & pepper hair seemed like it was his first night (it wasn't. Same issues from last year, same server, so we have something to compare to) didn't know the specials. Had to read them off, and didn't seem confident in presenting them as options. He came only one time as dinner orders were being taken to ask if we wanted refills on our adult beverages and not again after (the water lady probably visited 3 or 4 times in that span). When the desert menu came out, we were still socializing. But it was almost 20 minutes until he came back to inquire if we wanted anything. This was a MONDAY evening. It wasn't busy. There were maybe 7 tables. Again. We used to love this place. Oh. And yes, we still tipped well. The server has no control over the kitchen, and he may not have been given good training. It really looked like everyone was more concerned with completing the side work and getting ready for tomorrow than tending to the existing guests. (our reservation was at 6:30, so, no, we didn't show up as they were closing.) I don't think we will be back for a long time. Presentayion was amazing, as always.

Seasons Rotisserie & Grill: A Culinary Gem in Old Town Albuquerque If you are looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, or just to treat yourself to a memorable dining experience, look no further than Seasons Rotisserie & Grill. This restaurant has been serving delicious and innovative dishes for 28 years, and it shows no signs of slowing down. I visited Seasons on a chilly evening, and I was immediately greeted by the warm and cozy atmosphere. The restaurant has a rustic charm, with wooden beams, brick walls, and a fireplace. The service was attentive and friendly, and the menu had a variety of options to suit any taste. I started with the green chile chicken soup, which was rich and creamy, with a nice kick of spice. I added a basket of homemade artisinal bread, which was soft and crusty, and perfect for dipping in the olive oil, vinegar, and herbs. The bread was so good, I had to restrain myself from eating too much. For the main course, I chose the grilled pork tenderloin, which was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The pork was served with a baked sweet potato, which was fluffy and sweet. The portion was generous, but not overwhelming. I ended the meal with the flourless chocolate cake, which was decadent and divine. The cake was moist and dense, with a rich chocolate flavor, and topped with a layer of creme brulee, which was smooth and creamy, and had a caramelized crust. I was so excited to enjoy the exotic dessert, I forgot to take a picture before the first bite. Seasons Rotisserie & Grill is a restaurant that knows how to celebrate food, and make its customers feel special. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves good food, and good service. It is a place that will make you want to come back for more.

To Every Thing - turn, turn, turn There is a season - turn, turn, turn And a time to every purpose under heaven... A time to be born, a time to die A time to plant, a time to reap... We settled in at Seasons for "Happy Hour".. We shared, assisted by our lovely Server Lexi.. "Asian Fried Cauliflower Bites" that were crispy in a Sweet and Spicy Soy Sauce. Though nicely tasty and crispy, they were just "one note". "Lemon and Ricotta Ravioli", thoughtfully split for us...Were perfectly al dente w. a very nice delish ricotta filling w. spring peas. We also Enjoyed the burrata scoop on top. One recommendation if asked.. Would be to include Lemon in the pasta as well. Washed down w. Lemon Drop Martini and a glass of Chardonnay by the Lass and an Espresso Martini and a glass of Chardonnay by the Lad. What kept this respite from being relaxing for these Baby Boomers was the "screaming babies" around us, while we were in the Upper Bar area, we had hoped would be reserved for just Adults...fell short..:( To Every Thing - turn, turn, turn There is a season - turn, turn, turn And a time to every purpose under heaven A time to gain, a time to lose A time to rend, a time to sew A time for peace, I swear it's not too late!..:) Best, Avi and Buffy

The hostess was unfriendly and seemed burdened to help us get a table. Maybe it was because we had a 4 month old with us (who was actually silent for 90% of our time there). Anyway, the food was definitely dissapointing for the price. Our appetizer and two salads were probably the best part of the meal, except that they were very small for the combined price of $27 for the three items. Our appetizer (Brussel Sprouts) was overly saturated with Hazelnuts. It would of been nice to know this at any point before they were served, by either the menu or wait staff, considering that the person who wanted them is very allergic to nuts.... Then there was the entrée course. Being a chef myself, if I pay 90 for four relatively mid-to-low-tier entrees (one lamb shank, two chicken dishes, and a child portion of salmon) I would expect them to be absolutely on point. Well, to put it nicely, we were thoroughly dissapointed. Everything looked pretty good except for the Salmon, that was obviously burnt on top when brought out. Upon our first bites of each protein, we all said our dishes were terribly dry. It takes a lot of effort to dry out a braised lamb shank and chicken that looked like it was drowned in butter, but some one in their kitchen managed to achieve this. When I kindly informed the waiter of the issue he got nervous and annoyed and said he would comp us a desert. I said we would appreciate the gesture. Since no remakes were offered and considering that we were all hungry, we ate our meals. This seemed to annoy our waiter. I guess he thought that we were going to throw our money away by not eating our meal... The desert we chose for $7 was barely enough for the four of us to each have 1 to 2 bites. I'm really glad that it was not paid for. In the last 10 minutes of our experience, the clock rounded 7pm. What had seemed like a fairly tranquil and comfortable venue turned into deafening chaos and really freaked out our 4 month old and we had to make a hasty departure. I hope that we just caught them on a bad night, but I would never want to be part of a kitchen that put food out of that poor quality, especially for such prices. Honestly, I don't think I'll...

Started great from the beginning, waiter seemed "nice". We had a party of 8. The second time he came around to take our order, it's like he took a line of coke from the back and was cracked out. The first shady thing he did was ask what kind of soup or salad we wanted as if it was part of the meal (which to our surprise at the end, they weren't). We had salmon, steak and shrimp with scallops, rotisserie chicken, chicken parm, and the prime rib.

When the food was out and presented to us, the plates were sure hot but most of the food wasn't. The chicken parm, if they want to call it that, had a disgusting soggy mush on top that he called the "crust". Bottom of the chicken was so tough it was like jerky. Shrimp was dry and overcooked with no seasoning. The reduction they put on the steak tasted as if they poured water onto the flat grill and swiped all the burnt residue and put in on the steak. Steak was cooked properly otherwise. Salmon was over cooked. Scallops were slightly overcooked. Prime rib was ok, rotisserie chicken was even dry, which how you can even do that is beyond me. It's their signature dish, and they can't even get that right.

We saw the waiter maybe 5 minutes out of the entire hour and a half we were there. He attended all the tables he had to work for tips since 20% was added to our group by default. Everything took far too long, and we had to leave to an event. At the end he asked us if we wanted dessert, because it was famous and blah blah. We told him no, as we were already running late. The demeanor he had the second after we told him that, was incredibly rude, and he couldn't have cared less. In all honesty, I've never had a waiter be as rude and short as he was. Everyone else worked for him that night for our table, and I am grateful for them. The food isn't great or amazing, it's a close "kind of edible." Maybe they had great food at some point, but it's no longer that way... And throwing in culinary terms to make it sound good doesn't magically make...
