Hong Kong Express — Restaurant in Alexandria

Horrible service, woman who took the order was rude and was screaming at someone in the restaurant while in my ear, delivery guy arrived and told me I have to come downstairs to pick up the food rather than him deliver it to my door. I go the lobby to pick up the food and ask him why he wouldn't come up to deliver the food and he pretended to not understand me or speak English. He then told me I have to pay with cash and not credit card and of coarse I didn't bring cash to the lobby I brought my credit card. I told them to keep the food. Once up stairs I called the restaurant to complain and they pretended that they couldn't hear me after I repeated what happened 3 times and then they hung up on me. Okay first of all u have been going to them for yrs. Never had and issue til yesterday/last night. I even order Saturday night and had food delivered the same thing I order yesterday. Which I ordered wings with French fries and wings with plain fried rice. It made us sick diarrhea and nausea. I love this place. I eat here a few times a month. It’s quick, and everything I’ve tried so far has been great. It’s exactly what I want when I crave American style Chinese takeout. The lady at the front has been nothing but kind to me, and I always leave a gracious tip. If you’re not used to Chinese takeout culture and think the front desk lady rude, then you’re too soft and must not get out much. I’ve definitely experienced way worse, but these guys are always busy and I don’t blame them for being in a rush all the time. I really enjoy the Ma Po Tofu.
