My husband placed an online order at this location by mistake, trying to place one at the lorton location). He immediately noticed his mistake and called the restaurant to cancel. He was told the food was already cooked and couldn't be canceled. It was under a minute from when he placed the order and called so this is not possible. We live 40 minutes away and couldn't possibly make it there and back home without cold food (especially if a burrito, quesadilla, 2 chimichangas and two margaritas were done in 1 minute). They still insisted the food was done. We called the lorton location who gave us an estimated time of 10 to 15 minutes for the food. It was about 20 minutes until it was ready, which is what I'd expect. Called this location back to resolve and was continuously hung up on. They just wanted our $90. I understand that different locations may be at varying levels of busy but I can't even microwave food that fast. If the food can really be cooked that fast then it isn't fresh. I could see if we waited a half hour before calling, them yes, its our fault but to not let an order just placed be canceled is theft. When we finally got through to someone they said to take it up with the credit card company. Such a scam.
Edit to respond to owner: we have the phone records and receipt to show how quickly we responded. 4:55 order was placed. 4:57 we called you. You are a bunch of liars. We have 100% evidence if we need to take legal action. Keep arguing and lying in your responses here and we'll have even more evidence your theft. Furthermore my husband never yelled. He was very polite and only had to escalate the volume of his voice after listening to your continued lies. The phone records and order receipt are going to corporate and the credit card company.
You did NOT tell him you'd give him a refund. You told us to go through the credit card company. That is not a refund. Please..by all means post the times you have. I have posted our order receipt and phone calls. I don't know in what universe 4:57 is 13 minutes after 4:55. How DARE you say to a customer, "we weren't the ones who placed the wrong order." We admitted to being human and making a mistake which is why we immediately called to stop the order from being processed. Thank you for putting your rude comments into writing though. Just like the other bad reviews say, you walk in no one greets you and you have to awkwardly find your table in hopes they notice you to come serve you. My wrapped utensils were DIRTY, I didn’t make a big deal and washed then with my water and napkin. When my food came in, the egg was overly cooked so I couldn’t eat it. When I tried the beans they tasted rancid, like they had went bad and they still served it to me. The rice tasted like soap, they probably use a dish to serve rice and make that cute shape but that dish was dirty and not rinse properly and ruined the taste of my rice. As I was drinking water I noticed the glass was dirty too and I was just so grossed out I completely stopped eating. When a different waiter came, cause our waiter was on her phone and never came back to ask us if we needed anything, he asked if we wanted a box cause my plate was full. I started to explain to him about the rice tasting like soap and he said ok and left. He never apologized or let me finish talking about other concerns I had. I believe the manager was with them the whole time. They were all in a group chatting like they were debating to charge us or not. Manager never approach to talk to us. They never offer to bring us another food or anything, it was very awkward. Fairly we did not get charged for that dish but left unhappy with service. When I arrived there were only 2 tables occupied with patrons and I had to wait a few minutes to be seated after several acknowledgements that I was standing there. I was finally seated and ordered guacamole to go with my chips and salsa. My first taste of the salsa I knew it was store bought. No big deal! Then the guacamole arrived and that was pre-made and not fresh but rather bland. Then a group of 10 came in of 6 kids and 4 adults. My waiter took their drink order and filled it. I figured after he took the drink order he would come back and take my food order. No such luck... He filled their drink order, then took their order and then came to me. I was upset but its my day off so I let it go. The 10 people got their food and then I got mine after. Mind you there were only 2 other tables. I ordered the steak fajitas and they were terrible!!! They drizzled some type of sweet/tangy sauce on them which is odd. The tortillas were stale and I didn’t get any cheese. At this point I was ready to leave. Also they kept peeking out of the back like they thought I was going to leave and not pay which was annoying. The waiter had to know I was dissatisfied by the amount of food left on my plate. Asked if I wanted a container to wrap it up! Of course the answer was no thanks... Don’t even get me started on the swapping out the 1800 but I won’t even go there.
