This shop is amazing! The best way I could describe Lotus Blooms would be that it's classy, whimsical, luxurious yet understated, and sophisticated. Everything in the store is arranged in a way such that you feel like you're in a large, fancy closet. No vulgar and/or cheap shrink-wrapped packaging to be found here. If you're looking for cheesy or cheap, this isn't the place to be. The items they carry are great value-wise in terms of the quality you get for the money you pay...but everything they carry is high-quality, so if you're looking for cheap single-use items, this isn't the place to go. I've been here twice...one of those times was to find a mask for a masquerade party, and found a beautiful lace one that was only ~$25; was super impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. The store has educational events, but I haven't yet attended one so it's hard to speak to those, though the staff were all very knowledgeable but discreet/non-pushy...they give you the space and freedom to browse as you please, and only really talk to you if you approach them first. Jay was an amazing help to me! I walked in and was immediately taken in by the gorgeous displays and personable greeting. The helpfulness without being smothering was so nice. I was permitted to browse without being hovered over, but whenever I was carrying something Jay happened to pop up and offer to place it in a room for me, it was a perfect balance. The quality of items ranged from mid-high and reflected in the pricing. There was something for everyone and I saw plenty of plus sized items too. Have gone to several sex ed events here and have always enjoyed them. Staff is wonderfully knowledgeable, professional, and funny! Have also shopped a few times and found some of my new favorite products here. They only carry the highest quality products, from body safe intimate products/brands to well made apparel. Today I went to find lingerie for my anniversary that is coming up and Alyssa was super sweet and so so helpful.
