I had a terrible experience with this shop and feel obligated to warn others. I ordered a whole lamb, but what I received was far from complete. This was incredibly disappointing and dishonest.
I called the owner to explain what happened. Unfortunately, I was met with one of the rudest customer service interactions I’ve ever experienced. The owner didn’t even let me finish talking he cut me off, said he would “just refund the money,” and made it clear he didn’t want to hear any complaints. His exact words were that he “doesn’t have time to listen”. No accountability. Just complete dismissal.
I wasn’t looking for an argument, just a fair conversation and some accountability. Instead, I was disrespected. This kind of behavior from a business owner is completely unacceptable. It’s clear this business is only interested in one-time transactions, not building trust or long-term relationships. They want nothing to do with you even if something goes wrong.

Upon going home and I started prepping the meat to start cooking, I realized that there were parts of meat that were missing, including some organs. My initial thought was that the owner might have some untrustworthy employees stealing meat from customers.
When I called to address it, the owner (he said his name was Manayeh) was rude, cut me off, and showed no interest in hearing about the issue or even what parts I was missing. He kept on repeating that his employees are trustworthy and that he won’t believe what I was saying. He said he has several customers and they do not complain
After I interacted with him, and noticed that he was so defiant and defensive, I am convinced that he might be a major player in this scheme. I believe that they skim away meat from people who order full lambs, and sell the stolen meat to other customers.

Today I walk in to pick up Nazareth brand Ethiopian imported injera. However, it was not on the shelf. I stayed in line with everyone ahead of me goes whatever they asked for, one or two pieces. When I asked Nazareth injera, the young man said they are out. I said ok and turned around to look for something on the last row of the shelf. To my surprise, the same young man gave two people a Nazareth injera. It is a very unfair practice. Just to give a hint I always pick up 10 Sambusa at the counter with My every purchase.
