SMARTSTYLE — Local services in Algood

Wish i could give zero stars terrible customer service I was quoted double the price here versus cookeville store! First Stood for 10-15 min without being acknowledged when they had one customer whom just left they were too busy talking and putting down the other smart style location in cookeville using profanity being loud and rude saying the other location would never succeed in making more income for that week! When i asked for a manager I was told rudely by Tabitha “I am the manager with a smirk! The salon had tons of hair on the floor and the employees doing nothing but sitting… they over priced me and thought it was funny when I walked away I went to cookeville smart style and so glad i did!!! MUCH BETTER I will never go anywhere else!!! Lisa is the manager in cookeville and she colored my hair i never mentioned my experience to her from Algood and was treated extremely professional Algood should be closed or different...

Unfortunately did not enjoy my experience today. Went in for cut and style and a root touch up. My bill says all over color and charged eighty dollars for the color. . I was not.expecting this. I had just been in a little bit before thanksgiving and dropped two hundred fifty dollars. I contacted another local Smart Style salon to ask about their pricing. Apparently, Their pricing is different in each salon. Also , Malibu conditioning treatment was put on my hair before I was even asked if I wanted it. I called the salon for clarification. They attributed the pricing to " A problem with the system." Said that they did not have a root touch up option and pricing had to do with the length of my hair. The service was decent, I went in with my hair at about my waist and thick, I explained that I liked my length and wanted framing and to touch up on my split ends. I left with my hair above mid back, thinner and choppy. . Maybe there was some miscommunication even though I showed multiple reference photos/videos. By the time she turned me towards the mirror after cutting there was not much I could do. My hair was one of my favorite things and to see it completely different and not how I asked made me very distraught to say the least. She cut my brother's hair way to short and choppy as well when he wanted the top to stay long and just a trim. I'm sure this place would be great for simple things. But if you are looking for anything more I would recommend going...
