Sunday I came in with what the doctor who saw me descrbed as "the worst outer ear infection" she had ever seen in her life. She seemed genuinely concerned because it was so swollen she couldn't even see inside my ear to tell if there was damage to my eardrum or inner ear. I was in unbelievable pain. I was given a steroid shot and prescribed oral antibiotics and medicated ear drops. The doctor was adamant that I return in 3 days, so they could hopefully see into my ear and figure out what was going on. Arrived for my follow-up appointment and none of the nurses or doctors had any idea why I was there or what medications they had just prescribed me. There is zero continuity of care here. I waited for over an hour while my ear continued to fill up with blood and discharge. The doctor comes in, and she spends less than 2 minutes with me. It was very obvious that she was not concerned (or even curious!) and just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. She said, "Huh it almost maybe looks like there's a fungus in there. Maybe you could try putting vinegar drops in your ear? I don't really know why it looks like that though." I also raised concerns about the medication I had been prescribed, as the ear drops are known to cause a cast to form on the eardrum, preventing its vibration, and causing permanent damage to hearing. She dismissed these concerns, as well as the problems I personally was experiencing since using the drops. I paid $150 for this experience. I've used FastPace Health Care for years and the quality of care just keeps getting worse. I won't be going back! Still in need of medical attention, so I will be going to Cookeville...

Honestly I never post stuff like this but I think itās important for people to know how awful my experience was today. I went here a few months ago with the exact same thing I have currently. Last time they were really polite and helpful. I got antibiotics and I was better within days. I go back there today and pay $99 because Iām really sick and my throat is so swollen. The doctor just told me that I will have to deal with it and I will be sick for a few weeks but it will go away. He just told me to take some NyQuil (which Iāve been doing!). I just went out to the car but I got really upset because itās really hard to function because I feel so bad. My boyfriend & I went back in to talk to him to see if he could give me anything else. He kept repeating what he said and my boyfriend asked if we could just get a refund since he just sat me down to tell me I need to āwait it outā. My boyfriend told him that it was ridiculous to do that and we were kinda getting annoyed at this point. After that he told us that he was going to call the police on us if we didnāt leave. Please do NOT waste your money at this place. They were no help and I lost $99. Very unprofessional.
UPDATE:
I went through all of that Friday April 26, 2019. Itās currently Tuesday April 30, 2019. I woke up with a horrible pain in my left ear. I also couldnāt hear out of it. Paid $73 to go see my childhood doctor and was told that I have an awful ear infection and that I needed to be out on antibiotics ASAP. Please donāt waste your money here. (By the way the nurse I saw was Chris Delk at Algood...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this clinic a week ago. I was seen at the ER on Friday and was given an antibiotic injection for pneumonia. On Monday I didn't feel any better so I went to fast pace. The nurse strep tested me which was unnecessary since i was already on my second round of antibiotics and I didn't have a sore throat. The doctor came in the room not even 2 minutes after the nurse walked out and stated that my flu and strep tests had come back negative.. they didn't even flu swab me and there's no way they already processed the strep test. The doctor listened to my lungs and stated that they sounded clear and said I probably had bronchitis. I asked for a work note and the doctor wrote me out for 2 days. I followed up with my primary care doctor the following day and she ordered another chest x-ray because she said my lungs sounded terrible. Guess what.. I still had pneumonia. When I went back to work I got my work notes together from the doctors and realized fast pace gave me another patients work note. When I called to see if they would fax a new note to my employer they stated they couldn't do that because it's a HIPPA violation. No it's not. Giving a patient the wrong persons work note is a HIPPA violation. The person on the phone didn't even ask for the patients name that was on the work note. Their suppose to notify patients if there is a HIPPA breech. I would not recommend this place. I will not be back. They miss diagnosed my 3 year old a few weeks ago too. This place does not care about their patients!! I am highly disappointed. I would give 0 stars if it...
