Updated 12-29-2023 I got an email from Sonic, two important take-aways. 1) "IF the cheeseburger had no bacon" suggesting that I would go through all that over $1.00 and lie. 2) In order to get compensated I HAVE to install their app. I have no restaurant apps and don't want them. Sonic can't make this right without doing so on their terms and conditions. I will contact my credit card company and ask them about this. Because I do believe Tennessee has a law that a refund for no delivery can't be termed. My other option and stop going to Sonic. "Dear Gregory,

Edited 12-27-2023 My wife went to Sonic in Livingston TN to get us supper. She ordered me a Cheeseburger "add bacon" she was charged $1.00 extra for the bacon. She left Sonic with the order and came home. Once here I inspected the food and no bacon. I have emailed the HQ but don't really expect them to make this right.
Their prices have really gotten out of control. We stopped there and got 2 shakes, almost $16 and yet we were asked for a tip as well. That was shocking. Sonic is a carhop, meaning lower overhead then sit in eating places, yet they have higher prices then most and tipping is EXPECTED. I do not understand why they charge 3x's what most places do and the only thing the carhop does is bring your food out to you and they still...
   Read moreToday, I did a mobile order while I was on my shift....my order was a rt 44 diet coke...horrible horrible!! First, I was to arrive at 2:05 and I did, checked in...waited and I hit the red button and said that I can come back in 5 minutes to pick up if there will be a long wait...he states they are short staff and busy but my order will be out...I understand short staff amd busy and was willing to come back through but the way he made it sound my drink would have shortly...a car hop brings a drink to the car next to me..I watch as they take a sip and press the button...they had my drink...now we are approaching 12 minutes..the car next to me tells me that had my drink..I am pushing the red button trying to get this resolved and they answer and then go silent on me not once but three times..after 22 minutes and by this time, I am upset on how I was being treated and I am on a time crunch..I tried to suggest to come back later and when I pushed the red button to suggest to cancel the order they went silent and did not want to discuss the matter....25 minutes later a carhop comes to my car with a rt 44 tea with no ice...I said this is not what I ordered and she asked me what I had...the ticket states rt 44 diet coke...so I push the button again to complain and of course the dude didn't want to hear it...but he sure did walk a fresh drink out to the car that had my drink 18 minutes prior...I was so upset on how I was treated and I am a frequent customer...sad part, this happened last Sunday and the Sunday prior to this but I let it go...this time I had to say something...I have notice a change at this Sonic and it isn't for the good...I drive out of my way to go to this Sonic for the diet coke because the one on Jefferson cannot get the heavy carbonation balance right and it taste horrible...the one on Jackson has a flat diet coke...after this, I will find another fountain drink location because I am totally done after being treated they way I was...needless to say, after this I was over 17 minutes late and all this could have been avoided by listening to me and I would have cancelled...

This is my local Sonic & I frequent this establishment multiple times per week for my Cherry Limeade fixes. Early last week & 3 drinks ago, I went to take a sip & it tasted like I was drinking straight Alka-Setzer with a mild splash of Cherry. It was so bitter that I almost gagged, but just chalked it up to the staff not being aware it was the bottom of the Sprite barrel. But then drinks 2 & 1 were equally disgusting & bitter. Tonight I decided to give them 1 last shot & took my family for 1/2 price burgers & low & behold - those too tasted both different & gross (like microwaved, low grade meat) + the Cherry Limeades & my son's Sprites were (Surprise, surprise!) the same disgusting bitterness as I'd experienced the week before. That said I called the store to inform them of the situation & was told "only 1 machine was almost out, but that couldn't have been the situation & maybe your drinks just got a large air bubble in them or something". She didn't offer to comp or remake them, let alone apologize for the inconvenience. I informed her that this has been an issue since last week & she literally said nothing... dead silence. I was so frustrated by her ignorance & lack of customer service that I didn't even mention the chewy, cheap & undercooked (they certainly didn't touch a grill) tasting meat that happened to be our burgers. I was once a frequent & loyal customer but tonight was the last straw. My fault for giving them the chance for strike #4.
