Have been holding back to post this since pandemic. However, it is not like we visit regularly but there has been little improvement since then either. This last visit was the end. 15 minutes after being seated to take order and get water. We asked passing waitresses and all we got was "that's not my table". Manager ignored us when we asked to speak to them. We had tables sat around us, served, ate, and left before we got cinna- buscuits. And that was the only fresh/hot food we got. A half hour later we got food. Eggs were so could the cheese they placed on top never melted. Son's burger bun was hard. Not like over toasted or burnt, more like left in the microwave too long and was not edible. We stopped in for breakfast and didn't get to leave until after lunch.. I get that we were sit in an off shoot of the main dining room but the (for lack of better words) inconsiderate staff to not assist in getting our waitress nor management. Now I don't know if staff is against a select co-worker or not but the mismanagement of server tables and neglect of us, their customers was ridiculous. Even at checkout was asked and we informed. Oh sorry to hear our manager looks busy right now but comment cards are here. I have never wanted to become a Karen more than then. We sympathize with the servers if they were busy and condone management for spreading appointed tables. More importantly the lack of cohesiveness in its team members. I didn't know that I was being rude when I see a server coming around with a pitcher of water or coffee and ask for a refill. Being told...I'll get your server. I know I put deodorant on that morning. And if this a new tactic to save money on coffee or water...well not like I could talk to management. Real lackluster. So... again not that we are regulars... we had gone for convenience. The year right after they opened back up... we had issues of everything was out of stock. Okay... pandemic and all. Year after... they can't get anyone to work. Yeah...another one I won't touch with a 10 ft pole. Then rumors of them firing everyone to rehire at lower wages... and then we see more and more of this self-serving staff. Last visit was final straw. Hopefully it just this one...
Read moreNope. Never again. Had to try ordering 3 different entrees before they weren't "out" of it. Long wait for food that I didn't really even want. You run a restaurant and are "out" of a large portion of your menu. WILL NOT BE RETURNING.
2nd review (2stars). If anyone from corporate reads this please replace the paper towel dispenser in the women's bathroom. Dispensers shouldn't have to have directions written on them. Also it's disgusting to have to feel around the backside where you can't see to find the turn knob that everyone else has also had to blindly search for with their wet or dirty hands.
As for the food, just eat at Heggys. You will get better food and service. After multiple more trips to this place since my last review, nothing has changed. Today we got there at 5 'til 8AM and it wasn't even moderately busy. Waitress took our order promptly but our food (for four people) didn't arrive until 8:30 and when it did the waitress brought the check with it. Nothing like telling the customer that you will now ignore them for the rest of their meal. To be fair though, she only brought coffee refills once in the half an hour before the meal so I guess the service was much the same after she brought the check. Also, after she brought our food she had to make 3 trips back to the kitchen because she went there for 3 things and each time only remembered to bring 1 of them back.
A year ago this would have been the go to place for breakfast and some dinners. Dinners stopped a long time ago when you couldn't eat here in less than an hour even if you only ordered soup. Now breakfast is going to move also. Food is good but not worth the time or money.

Read moreThis place has really gotten bad. 2 years ago it was one of my favorite restaurants to go to. Now I cringe at the thought of eating here. The service is really hit or miss, and more often bad than good. The interior is very dirty. There is usually dirt on the floors, tables aren't clean, the menus tend to be sticky, about half of the time my silverware is dirty, and too many times I have seen things floting in my beverages. My food is usually either wrong, or parts of it are forgotten; I have to wait for dressing for a salad, or toast to dip in my eggs. Even when I ordered carryout the last few times they have forgotten things. The first time I ordered a wildfire chicken salad and they didn't give me any chicken, tortilla stips, or silverware that I asked for. The next time I ordered I checked before I left, and they didn't even have my two sides in the bag! With the last mistake they gave me some gift certificates, so I went in to use them, dreading the trip. It was the same story. My water had something floating in it, and when I asked for a new cup, that one still had something in it. They forgot about my bacon with my pancakes and bacon entree, and tried to charge me for the bacon separately (difference of $1.40, but still!). The list went on and on. The manager came over to apologize and said, "This usually doesn't happen." They didn't know we had the certificates, but they didn't offer to take anything off of the bill. Also, I've been told by people who have gone in to work on the interior and people who have worked there that the place is very dirty all together.
