I recently purchased what I believed to be an All-Clad pot with lid from this HomeGoods location. As someone who regularly cooks with All-Clad and Le Creuset cookware, I immediately noticed something was off when I used the pot for the first time: both the pot handle and the lid handle became blisteringly hot on the stove—something that has never happened with my genuine All-Clad products.
Concerned, I returned to the store with the pot, receipt, and original tags. I explained the safety issue and my suspicions. However, I was told by an employee named Melinda that since the pot had been used, it could not be returned—regardless of the situation. She stood by “store policy,” despite the fact that I was reporting what I believed to be a counterfeit and a potential safety hazard.
Frustrated but determined, I contacted All-Clad corporate directly and included photos of the pot and lid. The very next day, I received a call from All-Clad asking me to ship the product to them using a prepaid label. A few weeks later, they confirmed my suspicion: the item was not manufactured by All-Clad. It was a counterfeit. I was told it would not be returned to me.
So here I am—out the money I spent on a fake product, and out the time it took to investigate and resolve the matter. While I appreciate All-Clad’s prompt support, I am deeply disappointed in HomeGoods’ unwillingness to take accountability for selling a counterfeit item—and their refusal to issue a refund even when presented with clear evidence.
Lesson learned: counterfeits can be sold anywhere, even at major retailers. Shame on HomeGoods. Buyer beware.

They should actually pay me to shop there because it is like searching through a dirty garage sale I am telling you that every time I go there I feel so dusty and disgusting. There is a woman at the checkout with blonde hair and glasses. She is always at the very end and she couldn’t be more horrible ;( I thought bedding and sets of sheets, and she actually called someone over to make sure that the sheets with the price that they said thinking that maybe I had put a tag on there! I’ve never been so appalled in my life! Such a dirty hole!! And the employees are just as miserable as the store. But the blonde lady in the front with the glasses is the rudest person I have ever met!! Not that the others are any more gracious than her. Read moreIf I could, I would rate the Alpharetta Home Goods location -5. I had a return to make, I walk into the store at 9pm. One of the ladies who worked there very rudely said “Do you know what time it is?”. Is that how you welcome your customers? I said, 9pm. She said, we are about to close so stand in the line, I said I needed 5 mins to pick up an item, I’ll be right back as the store closes at 9:30pm. So I went in but didn’t find what I was looking for so I came and stood in the line. It was about 9:10pm. There were 2 customers at 2 counters and one counter was open and the same lady was standing there. I thought she didn’t see me, so she didn’t call me so I just walked up to her. To my dismay, she said, “Did I call you?”. At that point I could tell she was disriminating against me. She didn’t take my returns. I was humiliated while entering and leaving the store. This was unwarranted for. I left the store and came back in to talk complain about her and found out she herself was the manager. When I confronted her, she said, did I say that? She did apologize at the end but after I retaliated. This is not how you should be treating...
