I ordered an online curbside pickup order yesterday. Revived 2 notifications that the order was ready to to pickup this morning (8/31/2020). So I got my little kids in the car, followed the instructions on the email clicking the link to let them know I was on my way, and drove 25 minutes to the store. Got there, no assigned curbside pick up spots- no biggie- parked as close to the doors as I could, as instructed by the email, clicked on the link to notify them I had arrived, which then told me to call. Annoying, but whatever. I called EIGHT times. EIGHT different times over the span of 35 minutes. There were 5 cars in the parking lot one being a gentleman that I saw go into the store and walk out with a bag, so he was definitely a customer. After 35 minutes of waiting and crying babies in my car- I left, empty handed and furious. Don’t offer something and take my money for it if you aren’t going to complete the agreed upon arrangements. When I got home I tried calling again- still no answer. Same messaging, stayed on the line to be directed to the first available team member, rang for about a minute then hangs up. STILL no answer. Read moreOn 8/8/25 around 5 in the afternoon I witnessed an old lady in management with shoulder length hair disrespect my 17 year old son! He simply and kindly asked her if she worked there and her response was "I'm wearing this red vest that says Michaels on it!" Mind you, he's never been in that store nor I don't recall ever bringing him in that store. She had the audacity to assume he should know she works there! She ought to be ashamed of herself for talking to a kid like that and forbid anyone that way in a management position and in "Customer Service representing the company" I hope corporate finds out about her because she should get fired or demoted! It felt good to confront her on the phone and I hope she gets the Karma she deserves. Bless her heart, my son showed her kindness and showed her he's a better person than to ever be nasty at such an old age. As a mother and an adult I truly felt having her hear what I had to say to her on the phone was the reaction she deserved! Read moreI have generally had positive experiences at this location, but my recent visit was disappointing. I placed an online order close to closing time and called ahead to inquire about the possibility of picking it up that evening. While I understood the store's policy of a 5:00 PM cutoff and 9:00pm closing, I was surprised to find the doors locked early when my boyfriend arrived to purchase the item separately because the online order couldn't be filled until tomorrow, which I understood. I don't understand having a set closing time and knowing a customer is coming for 1 item and Tony chooses to lock the door at 8:55. I believe that a more considerate approach would have been to inform me that the store was closing early and the item would not be available for pickup that day. This would have saved me the inconvenience of traveling to the store unnecessarily. While I hope that future customers will be treated with greater understanding...
