francesca's — Local services in Altamonte Springs

I love the Francesca's Boutique in Sanford. The girls there are always very nice and helpful. This past Saturday August 22, 2020 about 2 - 3 pm I went to visit Francesca's boutique in Altamonte mall with my daughter. There were two young lady's one with black (Cleopatra style) hair and the other blonde to almost grayish hair who acted like they didn't even notice us as we walked into the store. I always go straight to the nice little clearance rack because I always end up purchasing a couple of beautiful items there. Everything was $15 that day so I grabbed the most beautiful blouse and walked to the cash register and asked if the item was $15 and the (blonde grayish hair) young lady agreed. This young lady did not even smile at us, scanned the item that was $15 and said "oh this goes up to $26" without no explanation. We ended up cancelling the item and walking out. Im not sure why she was mad that day. Maybe I would have decided to buy the item if they both had been nice enough to greet us and also explain why the item went so high. No wonder the boutique was empty...

I visited the Altamonte mall location at 3pm today. The young lady who was at the register had her back turned and was tending to some jewelry. I naturally thought she'd check to see if anyone was waiting to check out. Without realizing, 5 min had passed so I finally said "excuse me". She turned around and quickly said she was busy and had other things to tend to. I replied that the customer comes first though, right? (Jokingly, trying to make it lighthearted) she responded that "excuse me" is the best way to get her attention. Then I asked her first name. She mumbled then said she wouldn't give personal information. I would have walked out at that point but I needed to purchase my mother's gift. The associate's name on my receipt shows Katherine.  Francesca's is usually my Go To store for gifts, but this type of customer service should not be overlooked. This is the 2nd time for me that I have not been helped when  clearly signalling for service. The first time...

An adorable boutique style store that offers a variety of accessories and clothing options. They are on the second floor of the mall and near to Sephora if you are looking for it. The staff was very welcoming and offered me any help if I needed it.

I ventured around and looked at all the fun stuff. Several of the fun tables caught my eye and things on them would make great gifts for a friend! I like their fun candles and jewelry.

The clothing is not quite my style, but I could see myself buying a piece here or there when something does strike my interest! The fitting rooms were closed, as most places are doing right now.

Overall: A Cute little boutique style shop...
