What can I say...if you know you know. If you're an Aldi shopper, then if you've seen one store you've seen them all. I will say that this location is clean, employees are helpful and nice and they are generally well stocked. I will not count our country's current problems with empty shelves against them. Also their "isle of shame" is never disappointing. 😜 Now, if you're a newbie, and you've never been to an Aldi before here's what I'll say: Aldi is a German based company and for a first time visitor it's a different experience. It is not the Publix, Winn Dixie and Walmart concepts you're accustomed to. But, if you go properly prepared and go with an open mind, you will like it. Tips: *Bring a quarter with you to get your cart. (You will get it back) *Bring your own bags with you or plan to buy some there if you choose or you wait and just toss your groceries in the trunk of that's how you roll. *They are all about keeping costs down and in order to do that you have to cut the fluff as per say. You'll see the differences. It's not a bad thing what-so-ever, it's just different. *Great news is they absolutely do NOT sell an inferior product just because it's cheaper. Fun Fact Every single item goes through a series of tests and that item has to pass these tests 5-7 times at random befóre they will consider putting it in their stores. Hope something...
Read moreFirst time we visited after the renovation. (December 2018) Clean and modern looking. Most items are excellent prices and good quality. Amicable staff.
I hope they bring more vegan options there. It would be perfect.
Just make sure you bring your own reusable bags and a quarter to rent the shopping cart while you are there. It's a clever way to ensure that the shopping carts don't wander away. (A pet peeve of mine is seeing shopping carts all over the place half a mile or more away from the owning store.)
One recommendation for management: I like your upgraded restroom except for the reused barrier next to the urinal. You upgraded the rest of the place, why not get a new barrier?
Or better yet, why not get rid of the barrier altogether. After all, it's only a single person bathroom.
Also, whoever installed that barrier damaged the tiles. It looks unprofessional compared to the rest of the store.
I'm not going to ding you for it, however. I'll still give you 5 stars.
Just a reminder, please offer more vegan...
Read moreMany people say that the food selection at Aldi is sub par. I don't know where these people are going or what they eat, but I've found the food here to be very good. The foods here are typically not the brand's you see in the other stores and for some reason, people shy away from them. I've found many affordable foods here without sacrificing quality in any way. Most of the goods found in this store are meant to be prepared as part of a dish. You won't find many "set and go" meals here. There frozen food section lines one wall of their property and is stocked at all times. My only complaint about this place would have to be the produce section. They have a large range of produce, just at times their stock does seem to run out. Aldi definitely has their busier days on the weekends. This is typically when I see the produce section lacking. Other than that, the produce section is great! Feels a bit like shopping more in a market than your...
