This isn’t necessarily directed at the Ludington location store as I enjoyed working with them, rather the greater Spectrum and this new business as a cellular provider.
Service coverage is terrible. Dropped calls and missed calls. I’ve been told by their customer service team to fix, all you need to do is turn your WiFi on/off, and turn on/off your airplane mode. This is like someone telling you to hit your engine with a hammer before you turn the key to get it started. This “solution” is even broadcast within their automated system when you call in. “If you’re experiencing issues, try resetting your…”. I understand that this may work as advice as an ISP in comparison to “unplugging your router and waiting 15 seconds”; however, when you have to do this 10+ times per day, something is wrong.
When I speak to customer service, the experience is less than desirable. They have a habit of pointing the finger at others within their organization. The tone is passive aggressive with endings of, “I’m sorry you think that or feel that way.”
The problems that exist have data behind them to which they have two choices in my opinion. 1.) Be honest about your network quality and market your services to those whom are okay with below industry standards. 2.) Let your marketing messaging drive a “ working on improving” tone and actually have a technology or partnership roadmap that supports it. They’ll tell you that it’s the Verizon network and there is no difference. I can tell you that though they do lease access of the network, the quality of the service is nowhere near that of Verizon.
One might say that it’s month-2-month with no contract. Why don’t you just leave? I’m stuck because of out of my 6 devices, 4 have new devices with monthly fees associated. Short of paying the $4k, I’m stuck.

My husband took charge of this frustrating task, and we all joined forces to make it easier for him. Megan was incredibly helpful, providing clear instructions on the necessary PINs, numbers, and other requirements to complete the switch seamlessly.
However, things took a turn for the worse when my husband, plagued by both frustration and an upset stomach, struggled to recall the PIN and endured a long hold with our current carrier, venting his frustration rather loudly. To my surprise, amidst the chaos, I heard Megan's laughter. It turned out that my husband had engaged in some less-than-friendly conversations, expressing his discontent with the customer service agents of our previous carrier, who had hung up on him after keeping him on hold for a considerable time.
In that moment, Megan swiftly took control of the situation with grace and composure. She promptly contacted our previous carrier, addressing all the necessary requirements and ensuring a speedy and well-organized resolution. Her calm and collected demeanor was truly commendable.

Rude and disrespectful customer service. He wanted to add 2 channels but with no luck. The lady was trying to up sale and my dad said no thank you. She continued and my dad said no thank you and all I Wanted was my BBC back on and to pay for 2 more channels. The lady rudely told my dad to stop talking, so she could avoid his questions. How RUDE and unprofessional this corporate company is to their customers. !!! My dad is switching to another company today mom and pop company without the up sales, rude service !!! He loves this company because he has been with them for many years. They come out when we need them and we have areal person answer the phone after 1 or 2 rings every time !!!!!No more waiting on the phone to get a real person !!!!Never again will we go to Spectrum !!!!
