I usually come to this location mid afternoon. Apparently that’s the only way to get decent service. I decided to come inside to order as I didn’t know what I wanted. The cashier greeted us nicely and said she would be with us in a moment. After taking a couple cars orders we ordered and had a seat in the lobby. All the while the two baristas were standing within view loudly going on about their personal lives. The cashier was asking for help the entire time as they were supposed to be making the coffee.. 10-15 minutes later they decided to start working. The line of cars was wrapped around the complex. Still complaining and talking about things that were not appropriate with customers around. The cashier asked a specific girl to wait until a better time to talk about these things. She didn’t. After about 30 minutes my boyfriend decided to step outside because we were being swarmed by flies and had them constantly lading on us the whole time. Soon after our drinks were ready. One being the wrong size and the other being the wrong drink.. A drive through order was also wrong. When I mentioned it not being correct the barista got snotty and made a deal of it. Read moreWe were really disappointed with this store.
First, we were the only customer in the drive through. No waiting at all.
Second, the person taking my order could not understand I just wanted a coffee with a little sugar. She kept repeating my order back incorrectly. In the end, I just ordered a black coffee. My girlfriend even noted how difficult it was to order.
Third, when I received the coffee, it was not hot. Not even warm. I discovered this when I took the lid off to pour some sugar into it from a packet I had in my car. The coffee cup was filled so much that when I took the lid off it then proceeded to spill all over me and my center console. This so far was a very frustrating experience.
Fourth, we go back through the drive through (the inside was closed for whatever reason). I explain my coffee was cold, and they gave me a new one. The workers said they had just brewed it. This turned out to be not true. Perhaps their coffee machine had broke. But this was not even close to a hot cup of coffee.
We decided to drive away without going back. Poured the coffee out in the parking lot and shared my girlfriend's drink.
What is going on here Biggby? Next time I'm in Ludington I'm going to Starbucks...
Read moreI just spent over $30 on two drinks and two bagels (their prices have gone up!). When I asked if they had a rewards program after I sat at the window for 5 minutes before being greeted, they of course said they did (I used to have one but it's been months since I've been in).
So, I asked if I could get the points for my order today. The woman said "it's a little too late for that" and I said that I wish she would have mentioned it before taking my card and then she proceeded to tell me that that "it's not her responsibility" and that it's my job to hand her the card.
I can get better food and coffee with far superior service in this town so that's what I'll do moving forward. I hope you know what type of people you have...
