Such an amazing store with variety of choices in men’s and women’s clothes operated by such a lousy employees.
Went into this location at 8:36pm on a Wed night. Within 10mins of being there, an employee “Hayley” (I guess was her name) made an announcement that “due to an emergency, the store would close early at 9pm which is 14mins from now.” There were only five shoppers in the store at the time, including us. Everyone was puzzled and was shocked listening to the announcement.
By 9pm, all shoppers were in the checkout line. Yet she came around the counter and stood in the checkout line telling everyone that the drawer close at 9pm sharp and that everyone else in the line had to leave all thier items and go home or we all had to “stash” all our items in the store somewhere and come back the next day. This was by far the most bizarre and the most hilarious thing I’ve EVER heard (Hahahah). When we questioned her that is this a joke? She replied “No, the store manager stormed out of here and left her in charge and told her to close the store and leave at 9pm.” (Hahahaha) I asked her for store managers information and her information. She couldn’t remember her store managers name, or even her name. She had to ask her coworker. (See the contact info she wrote down.) haha. She then made the efforts to put items on hold for the lady behind us after I asked her for the management’s contact info. We left our stuff there and left the store.
Anyways, I recommend all shoppers to go here during the daytime because the store is amazing. Although, hopefully you don’t encounter her or a similar situation that we did. Management, I highly suggest you to play back the security camera footage and notice your employee’s behaviour and take...
Read moreI'm writing this with great sadness because I love this Burlington. (My husband says a little too much haha) I went there today with my daughter (2) and my son (5) getting birthday presents and a baby shower gift. While I was in the baby section, my son was holding a pair a shoes and a doll in a cardboard box. I noticed an older gentleman in his 50 or 60's with a long ponytail and glasses was watching us. He then stopped in the main aisle and stood there watching my son as I saw him in my corner of my eye. I looked at him and he shook his head and rolled his eyes. He then walked away and I asked him if he had a problem. He ignored me kept walking and I asked him again louder if he had a problem and then looked at me and rolled his eyes and proceeded to act like he was busy fixing clothes. He was an employee. AN EMPLOYEE! Was it that my son was holding a doll? Was he judging him for that? That doll is for his cousin's birthday! I don't understand why we got such an unfair judgment from an employee. It makes me not want to go there especially if a man like him is there. We still buy the stuff we had but I sure felt like crying. So awesome. On a side note, the women (African American) who ringed us up was so lovely and nice. Thank...
Read moreThis place was clean and organized. They have quite a selection of everything. They have name brand and designer name purses. They have makeup and nail care tools as well as nail polish in multiples for the price of what one nail polish would cost. They also have glass nail files, which are alot better for your nails. They are also very gentle. They came in a 3 pack for $6.99. Also purchased Ellen Tracy mascara in a double pack. One was for lengthening lashes and the other one was for volumizing. It was only $4.99. Also purchased blending sponges in a multi pack for $3.99. In addition, purchased a pretty Spring linen blouse. The same blouse would cost triple at Maurices or The Avenue.
All in all it was a productive shopping trip! They had everything that I came...
