Extremely Disappointing Experience with Unacceptable Financial Oversight
I had an utterly unsatisfactory experience with this institution, particularly regarding financial aid and administrative accountability. My program was approved for VA funding, and I attended classes for 16 months without any indication of an issue. Shockingly, just 12 days before graduation âafter I had already paid additional fees for my cap and gown and received approval for graduationâI was informed by Mr. Khia, the director, that no tuition payments had been received, and as a result, I would not be permitted to walk at commencement, and I would not be refunded for my cap and gown.
When I asked why I was never notified of this problem during my two and a half years as a student, Mr. Khiaâs only response was, âI donât know.â Even more concerning, he refused my request to speak with his supervisor, demonstrating a complete lack of transparency and professionalism.
I am now following up with the VA to determine how $40,000 in approved funding could have gone unaccounted forâand why the school failed to address this discrepancy until the last possible moment. The financial aid departmentâs negligence and the administrationâs dismissive attitude toward students are unacceptable.
This institution has shown a blatant disregard for its students' well-being and success. I strongly advise anyone considering enrollment to explore other, more reputable options where accountability and communication are...
Read moreI visited the campus for a tour back in June. Finding parking was easy since the lot was a good size. The campus itself is located on the 2nd floor and looked clean and well-kept. When I arrived, the receptionist was very welcoming and attentive while I waited for my admissions rep.
Once my tour started, I have to admit I was a little surprised at the professionalism of the staff. The rep who gave me the tour was wearing a jean dress with sandals, and her feet looked quite dirty. On top of that, she was chewing gum loudly, which made it hard to focus on the information she was sharing. For someone in a role thatâs meant to sell the program and represent the school, I expected a more professional appearance and demeanor.
On a positive note, I remember a friend who attended their PT program years ago and had great things to say about the instructorâshe described them as awesome and very knowledgeable. During my visit, I also noticed other reps chatting and laughing together. One of them was pregnant, and the financial aid rep I spoke with was helpful and gave me the information I needed.
Overall, the campus and programs seem promising, but I think admissions staff should better reflect the professional standards of the school, especially when meeting with potential students. I like looking at the overall customer service to make a decision where I'll be spending...
Read moreI would like to take the time to talk about my instructor, Mrs. Fazzone who was absolutely incredible. She made coming to school so easy. I completed the ultrasound program, and iâm not sure how I couldâve done it without her. Sheâs kind, patient, and goes above and beyond for her students. She genuinely cares for each student like they were her own children. Mrs. Fazzone has helped me immensely in this program, whether it be 1 on 1 help, or extra scanning time, whatever she could do for you she would. I recommend anybody to go into this program, if youâre willing to sacrifice a year of your time, and put in the work because Mrs. Fazzone has the knowledge and the skill to help you get there. I wouldnât be half the person I am today without her, If youâre looking to start your career in the medical field I advice you to do it especially with her. Itâs not easy, but she made it so...
