Years ago, I had an 18K Ruby ring custom made by a jeweler in Atlanta for my wife. This ring became one of her favorite pieces, unfortunately a couple of years ago she accidently cracked the Ruby. More recently, she inadvertently handled mercury which immediately bonded to the entire gold ring. Needless to say, the chemical bond between gold and mercury is very detrimental to the structure of gold.

I took the ring into Phil's and the jeweler was very candid with me regarding the recovery of this ring. I was not provided a timeline nor a price. But, I wanted to see what could be done since the ring had strong sentimental value.

After three months, I received a call just before Valentine's Day stating the ring was ready. When I was told the repair price I was literally stunned at how reasonable it was!!

When I picked the ring up several days later, the ring looked almost brand new!! Phil's had done an outstanding job on the restoration and repair. Especially on a piece that was really completely ruined.

Wow! Wonderful customer service, great prices and excellent quality! My husband brought me here for our anniversary to pick out a new ring, and Ben was so incredibly helpful. We called a little before closing and asked if we could stop in and they were very accommodating. Ben asked us what we were looking for, brought us out different rings and stones. He never pressured us one way or another. Instead, it was clear that his goal was to make sure we were happy with our choice.

Have shopped at Phil's Jewelers several times in the last month. Will shop there again. We found our experience there to be very pleasant and friendly. Have been shopping for jewelry in the Anderson and Greenville area. The other places wanted it to be done their way and not our way. Not very accommodating.
