Horrible experience!!! Where to begin? First time going to this bar with my husband and my friends to see the seven year witch band. First off, I called 2 times asking about how much the entrance fee was and the first time they said 5$ after 10pm. Then I called back asking if they would take credit cards to pay at the door and who ever was on the phone said 5$ cash. We came there a little past 11pm and the bouncer charged us 10 per person. Which first off that's not right already.... pretty sure he was putting a 10 in his pocket... We get in and got a drink which already took alittle too long to get already. About 20 minutes..my husband and I got our receipt to sign but my friends didn't even get a receipt to sign... we had our drinks and after about 35 minutes we went back to the bar to get another drink. All of us were standing there waiting and the 2 bartenders just did not want to give us any attention. They kept seeing us trying to get there attention and they wouldn't even look at us. The brunette was the absolute worst. People who came up after us were getting drinks first. We told the guy next to us to tell her to get us after because we have been there for about 20 minutes trying to get both the blonde and the brunettes attention and it was impossible!!! The man told her "hey get them after" the brunette looked at us and said OK ill get you next. Went to close out the guys tab and proceeded to help other people. We were completely BAFFLED. Finally after going between the two bartenders back and forth for 35-40 Minutes we threw up our hands and said never mind. As we were leaving the brunette bartender was making drinks for other people and started yelling at us and telling the security guard to not let us leave because we didn't pay for our drinks. SHE NEVER TOOK OUR DRINKS!!!! Both bartenders were the absolute worst ones iv ever seen. Definitely need to be fired or reprimanded. If you can't take the heat of working in a fast pace job and high demands maybe you need to go sit at a desk being in a call center. Management definitely...
Read moreRather stay anonymous due to personal reasons. This was the second time I had ever been here so I still wasn’t super familiar with the surroundings and the crowd demographic. This particular night lasted every bit of 15 minutes from when I walked in to when I was told I had to leave. When I walked in I showed my ID to the door man and I had asked if he knew someone I knew that worked there and had a small conversation. I had a friend go to the bar area to get us both a drink while I went to find a table, I was half way through my drink when I realized I started to feel a bit off so I thought maybe it was just me and I sipped on my drink. After realizing no it wasn’t just me, that something was really wrong, I ran to the bathroom because I was going to be sick but I didn’t make it. I tried as best as I could to cover my mouth to prevent a huge mess until I could make it to the bathroom. Finally getting whatever it was out of my system when I made it to the bathroom I instantly felt better. Then was cornered by two men in the bathroom saying I needed to give them money because I messed up their shoes, right as a staff member came to the door shined a bright flashlight in my face and told me I needed to leave. Not a single person asked if I was okay, what happened, or any type of concern just a quick you need to leave and closed the door. One of the guys took my phone when I was trying to text my friend to get someone to help me, opened my cash app and sent himself $100. I was able to get out and start going down the stairs to leave while others were following me with saying slurs and making open threats. At that point I was just glad I could get away from the whole situation SAFELY. I can never even step foot near that building since all I can think of was how traumatizing and dangerous that situation was. I to this day i’ve heard nothing but good things about the owner, and I’m sure they are very good people. Maybe need to be more aware and should have staff make them aware of what goes on. I wouldn’t recommend anyone LGBT going. Not...
Read moreHorrible experience. My husband and I drove from Charlotte with some friends to attend the band that was playing on June 27. The bar was over crowded and we were told it was a $5 cover to get in. When we arrived we were told it was $10. They were at capacity due to Coronavirus but they let us in after waiting and no one came out. We believe the bouncer charged us double to get in despite being at capacity.
We were able to get our drinks with little problem the first time we went to the bar. However, the waitress didn’t bring me my receipt to sign and leave a tip. The drink was very good, but very light on alcohol.
We go back for a second drink and the waitress served everyone but me, my husband, and friends. We kept trying to get her attention and even asked her if she could serve us while she was making drinks in front of us since we had been waiting a long time. She said she’d be right back for our order and continued to serve other customers. We ended up waiting 30-45 min without being served a drink. Someone from my group went to different parts of the bar and we still were not served by either bar tenders.
Finally, we get frustrated and decide to leave. The brunette bar tender called us out saying someone from my group ordered the drinks she was making. No one from my group ordered any drinks. She tried to say we were walking out in drinks that were made for us and tried to get the bouncers to stop us. We explained we had been waiting a very long time and had not ordered any drinks and they let us leave. The next morning, I find they charged my card twice for 2 different amounts even though I only made one transaction.
Don’t waste your time or money on this place. The bar tender who made our experience horrible either needs to be fired or...
