RUN AWAY! Do not use this jeweler! They had my 86 year old mother's watch for almost 9 months. Kept telling her it would be ready "tomorrow". Gave her a constant run around that they didn't have it, it had been sent out for repair, that is needed adjusting... Then we were told it was back and ready. When my husband went to pick it up today he was told first that it would be ready in 5 minutes, then that the owner wasn't there, then that it would be ready tomorrow... My husband finally told him he wasn't leaving without it. Had a confrontation at the desk, but after 2 hours, he finally left with the watch. So glad we were able to get it back. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR PRECIOUS MEMORIES! My late father had given her this watch. It was purchased there, but they are not what they were 20 years ago! RUN!
Just to expand on this experience and to share about how deceitful this place is. We are now 6 months after my husband sat for hours refusing to leave without my mother's watch. Last week, the back fell off the watch while my mother was wearing it. As she has moved and is now living with my sister, we contacted the company and chose to send the watch to them for repair. Come the estimate, and the movement inside the watch is NOT ORIGINAL. The case back is damaged and the ring that seals the watch is broken into 3 pieces. My mother will be spending $1200 to have the watch properly repaired. After taking it in for a battery. I cannot express enough what a terrible experience this has been. DO NOT GIVE THIS CROOK YOUR BUSINESS! We are looking into reporting to the...
Read moreBEWARE. Nazarian jewelers will sell you defective jewelry and steal your money. I own a small business myself so I do not take leaving negative reviews lightly but RUN far from this place to any other reputable jeweler unless you want your sentimental and valuable items lost or stolen.
The only reason this place is still in business must be to do with former generations because Steve Nazarian runs this business with no pride or respect for the name or customers.
Our story is long but ultimately, I lost stones from my wedding band purchased from them 5 times (in 2 years). I was told after the 3rd time if it happened again they would replace it because it was flawed.
The 4th time we went in to have it fixed and also get a new band for my husband. Over the course of an entire year Steve Nazarian lost our order. He told me after 2 mess ups and 6 months the band would be free, so we waited. I made 7-8 trips to pick up the band only to be told it “seems to be misplaced, come back in 2 weeks”. When I finally pressed him after 10+ months of stringing us along he decided “it’s best we go our separate ways”. I was 9 months pregnant when we started this and was therefore VERY patient for months telling them “it’s ok” and being the easiest customer. This is how we were treated.
Now I have a wedding band with missing stones for the 5th time (only 2 weeks after the last “fix” because he refused replacement) and we have NO wedding band despite the deposit put down...
Read moreVery disappointing experience here. I bought my fiancee's engagement ring here from a guy named Gideon in 2018, and that went well. But unfortunately he left and when we went back for the wedding rings, Steve was useless. After we ordered our rings, he blew us off for over a month before finally telling us we could come in to look at what he had for us, which was nothing. He continually got our order wrong and we came in at least four times, never with anything to show for it. It ended up being a huge waste of time, and we probably should have just walked out after Steve used a racial slur in a conversation with us (the context is relevant, but the action is still not excusable). We did not end up buying here and will not go back. Save yourself a lot of time and go...
