Jessica at Hemlock Hair Studios has cut my hair for years. I’ve always had the most amazing experience with her and my hair always looks perfect after she cuts it. 10/10 experience. I got my nails done for the first time at Mint Studio with Wendy and the whole experience was so wonderful, she was careful and professional. Best mani/pedi I’ve ever gotten. I did have one bad experience. I went to get my eyebrows done with Tracy at Serenity Salon. I’d never had my brows done by her before but her website shows only 5 star reviews so I felt comfortable seeing her. While she was kind and welcoming, I left very upset and disappointed. My brows are normally relatively thick and I was only looking for them to be cleaned up. She agreed to leave them thick but said she would slightly fix one of the arches. I left with tadpole brows that were MUCH thinner than ever before. I can’t even fill them in well enough to fix the issues. I could not have been more upset. I then went to leave a review on her website because I feel it’s very important for others to know what kind of service they should expect. I got a refund and the review got taken down. While I appreciate receiving a refund for this, I am appalled that her practice is to remove bad reviews to deceive customers into believing she provides 5 star services.
