I was greeted by her giving me a three minute lecture reprimanding me about how I used the wrong door to come in (I came in using the door off the parking lot and there were NO SIGNS directing otherwise). Then she curtly instructed me to go wash my hands and spoke to me like I was a child- the entire time. I was shocked. The fill manicure took her over 2 HOURS TO COMPLETE- a task that shouldn’t take more than an hour. She pressed her sharp long nails into the sides of my fingers and pressed so hard on my little knuckles she actually bruised on of my fingers. When she “ cleaned”? my nails, she POURED alcohol all over my fingers which dripped down my hands then used a brush and flicked the alcohol towards me onto me and my clothing. I have been getting regular gel manis and pedis from Peridot for the last 2.5 years. I love her cozy salon — she has a one-chair shop which means she can focus all of her attention on her client.
