Underground Printing — Local services in Ann Arbor

Underground printing made our 100+ unit sweatshirt order so easy in every way. I had done orders of t-shirts before through other companies where I had to design the clothing, take the orders, collect the money, and distribute the orders myself. It was always a huge hassle and we never had a great turnout because the product wasn't that impressive. UGP, on the other hand, handled everything for us. They did the design, handled the licensing, and took all of the orders and payments on their awesome POGO service. The sweatshirts were even individually wrapped by order and labeled by name when I picked them up which made handing them out so easy. The sweatshirts were really good looking and the quality was great. We ended up with 3x the amount of orders we normally get because they were that good. We even had to do a second order of 50+ because so many people saw the finished product and wanted to order after the fact. UGP made this second order even easier by allowing people to ship their orders to their own home. I have recommended them to friends and family alike since...

Finding a local business that can produce a quality product and maintain a good rapport with customers is a rarity today. Yet, UGP aptly manages both!

We were looking to order custom t-shirts for a group of students/staff attending a leadership camp this summer and were facing a serious a time crunch! Despite the many vendors in our area, there is no question that UGP is the superior option! I have worked with this company on orders in the past and would not trust any other with my custom apparel needs.

What truly sets UGP apart from the rest is their customer service. While working with Megan, I was able to share my custom artwork, select a product, receive a quote, and place an order all within a day's time. I received consistent email and phone communication throughout the entire ordering process. The product was delivered on time (despite my short notice) and was exactly what we were hoping for. Needless to say our school's leadership team will be using UGP exclusively for all of our future...

I’m very disappointed with my recent experience with Underground Printing. Communication was severely lacking—an email notifying us of a delay arrived just an hour and a half before our full order of 200 shirts was expected to be delivered, and nearly 12 hours after the reported power outage that caused the delay. At that point, production hadn’t even begun, yet we weren’t informed until the last minute.

It would have been far more appropriate and professional to notify us first thing in the morning, especially since our delivery was already a full day behind schedule.

I also reached out at 1:13 PM expecting to speak with someone about next steps, but I didn’t receive a call from the regional manager until 2:28 PM—well over an hour after the missed delivery time.

Overall, the experience was frustrating and fell short of the professionalism I expected. I hope this feedback helps improve communication and service...
