Craig was fantastic. He helped us figure out what we want and what it would really cost, month to month. He ordered our phones, but when they arrived the Verizon store’s selling software (or something) was down, so they couldn't actually sell them to us. Craig let us know when this problem arose, when it was resolved, and when we could get our phones. He then sat with us and made sure my wife and I were both up and running smoothly. He also suggested a couple products--not ones the store sold--that would make our lives easier. He was the best phone salesperson with whom I have ever worked. In this regard it is worth noting that we migrated to Verizon from Sprint because no one we talked to at Sprint could give us straight answers about upgrading our phones. We just kept going round and round on the phone, and weren' getting anywhere. Dealing with Craig was just the opposite: great at every step.
Follow up: Two days after purchasing my iPhone, I dropped it and the screen showed a crack. I was disappointed, of course, but Craig suggested it might just be the screen protector he had sold us that was cracked. Upon investigation, it was. Craig is just super reliable, super helpful.
2nd follow up: I heard an advertisement offering 6 months of Apple One in exchange for getting a new iPhone from Verizon. I wasn't sure we had received, that, so I contacted Craig, and he made sure we did and sent me the details about how...
Read moreUpdate: It has been a full month, and multiple calls to corporate, and Kristen still will not remove the returned device from our bill.
I would leave a 0 star rating if physically possible. Actually; I would probably leave a negative rating. We got lied to multiple times, straight to our face, and we’re still fighting with it.
We got a phone to replace a dead phone. When the phone came in, Kirsten added an insurance plan (which we explicitly stated we did not want and she said she did not add). I was able to get the original phone fixed, so we went to return the new one. We were told by another service rep that we had to return the phone through Kirsten. She took the phone back and gave us a return receipt, but told us she couldn’t cancel the payment plan because it was too late in the day. She told us we could cancel it ourselves by calling the customer service line, and proceeded to play the hold music from the line (literally) until we left. We called the next day, and were told that she needs to cancel it (or at least the franchise location did).
Since then we’ve called in three times, and we still haven’t been able to get through to her or the manager of the franchise. Start out at the corporate location on Ann Arbor-Saline, because this is...
Read moreMy experience today at Verizon TEAM Wireless was NOT a TEAM experience! I have bought my phones for years from this store on Washtenaw and have been very happy with the service I have received over the years. With this new company name, there may have been a change of management and employees since I was there a year ago. However, the service person, Brit, with whom I talked, must have been having a bad day. I have never been so badly treated in trying to get help as I was today. Brit was unable to listen to what I was saying, told me it was wrong (because he had not encountered what I was saying?) and completely stopped any efforts to being helpful to me within less than two minutes of interaction when he dismissed my concerns and said he couldn't help me. When I asked to speak to someone else, he refused and asked me to leave. When I said I would wait to see when someone else's time opened up, he continued to ask me to leave in a hostile, dismissive manner. I do not leave reviews on principle but I had no other choice than this one to register my complaint. I will not go back to that store and I will talk to the headquarters at Verizon about this as well as to his manager. However, customers beware of Brit who is...
