I recently had the pleasure of dining at the new Sweetgreen location in the Arbor Hills shopping plaza, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! This salad shop brings a fresh and invigorating experience to the area, combining an outdoor eating area with a commitment to local farmers and sourcing ingredients. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a vibrant atmosphere that exuded a sense of warmth and creativity. The outdoor eating area was a breath of fresh air, providing a relaxing ambiance that made my dining experience all the more enjoyable. Sweetgreen's dedication to sourcing local ingredients shines through in every dish. Their menu boasts an impressive selection of fresh, flavorful, made-from-scratch bowls, plates, sides, and more. It's evident that each ingredient is carefully chosen and thoughtfully prepared. The result is a culinary journey that highlights the true essence of locally sourced goodness. What truly sets Sweetgreen apart is their commitment to prepping ingredients from scratch each day. This dedication to freshness and quality is evident in every bite. From the crispness of the greens to the vibrant flavors that burst with every mouthful, each dish is a testament to their unwavering passion for delivering exceptional food. Not only is Sweetgreen a haven for salad enthusiasts, but they also cater to a variety of dietary preferences and restrictions. Their menu offers a wide range of options, ensuring there's something for everyone. Whether you're a devoted carnivore or a dedicated vegan, Sweetgreen has you covered. The friendly and knowledgeable staff and Maddie who was helping me at Sweetgreen further elevated the dining experience. They are always ready to provide recommendations, answer questions, and make your visit a memorable one. Their passion for the food they serve is infectious, and it's clear they genuinely care about delivering an outstanding experience to their customers. If you're in the Arbor Hills area and crave a fresh and fulfilling meal, I wholeheartedly recommend Sweetgreen. With their dedication to locally sourced ingredients, made-from-scratch preparations, and an inviting outdoor eating area, Sweetgreen is a true gem in the salad scene. Go ahead and treat your taste buds to an unforgettable experience! Disclaimer: This review is based on my personal experience and taste preferences. Individual experiences may vary.

This is my favorite spot to get fresh warm salad bowel with a good portion. However the experience I had today ruined the whole experience. I went in the store at around 11AM on October 25. This petite black lady served my food. I ordered a crispy rice bowel and a southwest chicken fajita. Not only did she take forever to read the instructions of what ingredients go into the bowls, when she accidentally put regular chicken instead of blackened chicken into my crispy rice bowel, she asked if it’s ok? I said I prefer blacked chicken (I in fact ordered this specific item to get the blackened chicken). And she seemed deeply bothered and acted really sassy and said: next time you see it you should say something. Horrible customer service and not sure if I will go back. She also didn’t give me any receipt and didn’t ask if I want any bread

Awful Food! Previous order was great . Tonight 9/23.2024 Terrible! We ordered 3 bowls the Salmon was the size of a sardine and almost 20.00, the blackened chicken no sauce , the sweet potatoes were dry and wrinkled, the rice was like glue, the veg slaw had about 4 carrots and the brussel sprouts looked like maybe kale greens and burnt. The steak bowl the meat was gray. We took them back for a remake and asked for the manager, and He refused to come from the back and address our concerns. They remade them and told us that the all the brussel sprouts looked like that tonight. The second remake was just as bad as the first. The taste was of charred burnt food. This is way too expensive to put out poor quality food like this. Save Your money this is awful

Most recently, I went to this location and my fiancƩe and I wanted to get the ripple fries. They are a popular item, so I understand they aren't available all the time. So, we asked for them, and the worker said they'll be about 30 minutes. So, we ordered our other food, sat down, ate in 20 minutes, then waited another 10 to wait on the fries.

So, I walk back up, wait in the line for about 7 to 10 minutes, then I am up next to order. I ask the worker if the ripple fries are available, and then she says "I don't even know." I said "Do you know how long they will be?" She says "Probably about 30 minutes because we got other stuff in the ovens." I said "That's what the last girl said to me over 30 minutes ago" and she shook her head 'yes,' said "yep," then proceeded to walk away.

So, this is obviously a store where the customer doesn't matter. I understand the store has a high volume and the workers feel busy. Yet, abandoning customer service is wild. Don't give time lines that aren't achievable. Apologize when demands aren't met. Work to accommodate when things aren't as desired or your co-worker gave inaccurate information.

I've had multiple issues here. Orders wrong, workers jumping ahead and throwing dressing on a to-go order before being asked if it was wanted on the side or not and the order being soggy after the long drive. It's annoying, to say the least. Do better, and if this place is franchised, the owners need to get in and monitor the attitudes and lack of customer service of some of...

āā˜†ā˜†ā˜†ā˜† Sweetgreen Ann Arbor: Full Price, Half the Food, Zero Respect

I’m done with Sweetgreen — especially the Ann Arbor location. I went in expecting a decent meal and left feeling ripped off and ignored. I ordered a rice and chicken bowl and paid full price for one of their big bowls. What I got was an absolute joke.

First off, the customer service was awful. The staff looked bored, annoyed, and like they couldn’t care less. No greeting, no thank you, just a rushed attitude like I was wasting their time by ordering food. At a place that prides itself on ā€œfresh and friendly,ā€ this was neither.

Then came the real insult — the food. The portion I got for the price I paid was ridiculous. The bowl was barely filled — a thin layer of rice, a sad scoop of chicken, and a sprinkle of toppings. That’s what you call a big bowl? I’ve had side salads that were more filling. For the money they charge, it’s honestly offensive.

Sweetgreen used to be about fresh, healthy food you could feel good about. Now it feels like a cash grab — charge more, give less, and hope customers don’t complain. Well, here I am. Complaining. Because I work hard for my money and I’m not about to keep spending it at a place that gives me attitude and barely enough food to qualify as a meal.

Save yourself the disappointment. Sweetgreen Ann Arbor is officially...
