Read moreMost recently, I went to this location and my fiancée and I wanted to get the ripple fries. They are a popular item, so I understand they aren't available all the time. So, we asked for them, and the worker said they'll be about 30 minutes. So, we ordered our other food, sat down, ate in 20 minutes, then waited another 10 to wait on the fries.
So, I walk back up, wait in the line for about 7 to 10 minutes, then I am up next to order. I ask the worker if the ripple fries are available, and then she says "I don't even know." I said "Do you know how long they will be?" She says "Probably about 30 minutes because we got other stuff in the ovens." I said "That's what the last girl said to me over 30 minutes ago" and she shook her head 'yes,' said "yep," then proceeded to walk away.
So, this is obviously a store where the customer doesn't matter. I understand the store has a high volume and the workers feel busy. Yet, abandoning customer service is wild. Don't give time lines that aren't achievable. Apologize when demands aren't met. Work to accommodate when things aren't as desired or your co-worker gave inaccurate information.
I've had multiple issues here. Orders wrong, workers jumping ahead and throwing dressing on a to-go order before being asked if it was wanted on the side or not and the order being soggy after the long drive. It's annoying, to say the least. Do better, and if this place is franchised, the owners need to get in and monitor the attitudes and lack of customer service of some of...

āāāāā Sweetgreen Ann Arbor: Full Price, Half the Food, Zero Respect
Iām done with Sweetgreen ā especially the Ann Arbor location. I went in expecting a decent meal and left feeling ripped off and ignored. I ordered a rice and chicken bowl and paid full price for one of their big bowls. What I got was an absolute joke.
First off, the customer service was awful. The staff looked bored, annoyed, and like they couldnāt care less. No greeting, no thank you, just a rushed attitude like I was wasting their time by ordering food. At a place that prides itself on āfresh and friendly,ā this was neither.
Then came the real insult ā the food. The portion I got for the price I paid was ridiculous. The bowl was barely filled ā a thin layer of rice, a sad scoop of chicken, and a sprinkle of toppings. Thatās what you call a big bowl? Iāve had side salads that were more filling. For the money they charge, itās honestly offensive.
Sweetgreen used to be about fresh, healthy food you could feel good about. Now it feels like a cash grab ā charge more, give less, and hope customers donāt complain. Well, here I am. Complaining. Because I work hard for my money and Iām not about to keep spending it at a place that gives me attitude and barely enough food to qualify as a meal.
Save yourself the disappointment. Sweetgreen Ann Arbor is officially...
