Beware: they do not make returns easy. You pay your own shipping fee for returns and if you try a candle and don’t like it, they will not accept returns on it. Not sure about other people but how else are you gonna know if you like it or not without burning it? I get that they can’t resell burned candles, but mattress companies can’t resell mattresses and they still offer 100% satisfaction guarantee. In today’s online shopping world I feel like every store should have some satisfaction guarantee, especially since I can’t smell over the internet:) My husband purchased some candles in hopes of filling a void because my go to candle (from another site) has been discontinued. He heard good things about COM and purchased 3 different scents. Cedar Leaf and Lavender made my house smell like a cigar shop. Ocean mist and Sea salt has a very powdery scent making us feel claustrophobic. The third apricot tea is alright in small quantities. We burned these candles just long enough to get a decent smell (about half an hour) before having to put them out. I stopped here in the spring of 2022 after a coworker had given me a candle from here during Christmas. I was excited to try more and I ended up spending the larger portion of an hour picking out candles. I remember that I felt a little rushed while shopping but all in all my total was about $250. A few days later, I found out that there were several sales going on that I could have taken advantage of that were not mentioned while I was inStore. I paid full price for everything. My friend got us tickets from Groupon to go make candles at this place. Our instructor was patient, helpful, and overall amazing, the entire shop was beautiful, the event was intimate, and I can no make my own candles from scratch. This was a fun place/event, truly informative and great for groups. I’d say call ahead to find out how many groups they can take at a time.
