Got ripped off completely… me and my husband hired her to do a modification of custody.. we paid her 1075.00 for an uncontested modification. Two days later my daughters biological father decided he just wanted to sign over his rights all together. So I called Laura Alexander’s office and they told us that they never started on the modification yet so they would just switch the paperwork to adoption so that my husband could legally adopt my daughter. The paralegal called us and told us when the paperwork would be ready on a certain day. We showed up that day after driving an hour and a half and the paperwork was never ready. So we went to eat lunch and was going to come back. While eating lunch the paralegal called and stated that all they could do was draw up the paperwork for the adoption but that they couldn’t file it because it needed to be filed in the county we live in and they don’t practice in that county. So my daughters father signed that paperwork and we took it with us to the county we live in. Well low and behold the paperwork that they gave us was completely done wrong and we couldn’t even use it. I had to hire another lawyer and pay another 2500 dollars to start all over. I then asked Laura Alexander to refund some of the money that we paid because she was unable to help us and that the paperwork was wrong and we couldn’t use it. She then informed me that she would send an itemized paper with her charges and refund us what we deserve. Two weeks later we get a bill in the mail from her for another 48 dollars!!! Like really?? She couldn’t help us and gave us the wrong paperwork and wouldn’t refund any money and trying to charge us… DO NOT USE HER if you don’t want to be ripped off for services she...
