Grady Market — Local services in Apalachicola

I go to this shop every visit to the beach. I love the products they sell. I went again jan 2021. The sign on their door says masks required. My first visit everyone had a mask on so i felt comfortable taking my mother there the next day. However, when we were checking out, the lady did not have a mask on. I asked my mother out loud “step back , she does not have a mask” . I thought she might put one on after hearing that but she did not. So i signed the receipt for my mother and told her to wait outside...again..out loud with the lady behind the counter right there. She still did not put on a mask. I spent hundreds of dollars there and now regret it. My mother has a heart condition and i feel she should have put her mask on. I will not...

This place is amazing!! I had accidently left my wallet in their store and did not discover it till I was half way home (a 4 hour drive). I called the store after I discovered I could not find my wallet and as soon as I told them my name - they said "We have it!" I needed my wallet very quickly as I was flying the next week and wanted to have my cards and driver's license. Alyssa volunteered to take it to the post office and overnight it to me (I gave her permission to use one of my cards to pay for the shipping cost.) Great shop in a historic building! Reminded me of a high end boutique store of old, at least in my imagination!! Nice selection of mostly higher end products from shirts, to shoes and everything in between! Prices were a little higher than expected, but the quality was well worth the cost. I felt like I was discovering something new around every corner, plus the cool antique spread throughout the store added a bit of charm. I will definitely go back to look for more unique treasures.
