We started with "The Duck Fries" they are epic. Unlike any other fries I have ever had. For a starter, this is a generous portion I could honestly make a meal of it. There were (2) of us and this could easily serve 3 to 4. So what are "Duck Fries"? They are the perfect French fries cooked to a golden color and crispy yet soft in the middle. They use Duck fat for flavor. It is topped with a medley of (3) types of cheese and finished with Duck Cracklings! The flavors are outstanding. It's truly a one of kind dish, decadent yet good ole' comfort food!!! You have to try them! For dinner we ordered Fried Shrimp and Shrimp Linguine Carbonara! I ate the Linguine and they nailed this dish on flavors. The perfect amount of cheese, peas and bacon throughout the linguine. The seasoning on the shrimp mixed into the pasta and took it to the next level. I wish I could recreate this dish at home, it's that good. The fried shrimp platter has nice size shrimp with a delicious batter and they give you an ample amount. Comes with (2) sides. We had key lime cheesecake for dessert. It was the perfect little shareable serving after a big meal ~ Creamy and tart with the right amount of lime. I wish I could give this review more stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The food, atmosphere and pleasant staff are all so welcoming. The restaurant is casual yet your experience is very elevated!!

I have visited The Tap Room on multiple occasions but after today’s exchange with the wait staff, I will never be back nor recommend this place again. One of the ladies i was traveling with asked our server if the margaritas were good and she responded “Why would you ask that dumb question.” When my friend told her that she just wanted to make sure it was good the young girl responded in a very unprofessional way and walked off. She didn’t return. After a bit a young man came to our table, when we told him we didn't mean any offense by asking the girl the question, he became very unprofessional repeatedly saying girl? Girl? We don’t employee minors. He was very antagonistic and also unprofessional. He could have taken the opportunity to smooth things over but instead continued the argument ending it in “maybe this just isn’t a good fit.” Our husbands were at the table next to us and had already ordered lunch or we would have left immediately. I can’t imagine these employees keeping their jobs very long if this is how they treat other customers. The food was ok but definitely not worth the $$ when the service is terrible and unprofessional. Do not go here if you’re looking for a good experience. I’ve never had wait staff who was not willing to make suggestions or recommendations from their menu. I had been to this place about two years ago, and the food, service and atmosphere were amazing… so I brought my husband here thinking he would enjoy an evening out from Tallahassee. The food was grossly overpriced but we thought maybe the food is elevated and that’s why its in the higher end.. we could not have been more wrong.. first we ordered the wings naked.. 35 minutes later we still had not received our wings so the server said she accidentally made them with breading and had to have a remake and that’s what took so long ( why didn’t she tell us that when it happened, so we were not confused why wings we’re taking so long… ok so we let that go.. we both ordered 17 dollar burgers thinking this must be amazing for this price… well we received two burgers mine was with the wrong cheese they both tastes like butane and charcoal and they also took 35 minutes to get..and the fries were cold and soggy.. clearly sitting in the back … there was no manager there, the server said she was the manager… the place was dirty… there was not a lot of people in there so we couldn’t understand why everything was taking so long… we will never return we will tell everyone that used to love this place its not the same dont waste your time or money… this place really went down...
