La Robe Boutique — Local services in Apalachicola

I love going to La Robe when I’m in town. I usually have a great experience, but this time was different. The owner of the store was in and did not say a word to myself or my husband. She seemed more focused on the people in the store that might be able to spend more money in the store, even though we did buy a pair of Julie Vos earrings. When we entered the store, she looked right over us. After we purchased the earrings, the couple she was speaking with left literally at the same time as us… She told them bye, looked at us, and then turned around and didn’t say a word. Being that I have worked in the boutique world for many years, this is not something you do to paying customers, especially the customers that come every time they are in town. I’m not sure if I’ll be going back. I know the etiquette, and this was not it. The items in the store are precious, and the other woman who helped us was so nice and helpful. I walked into EVERY BOUTIQUE in this adorable Town Square, I saw quite a few cute, definitely "up to date" fashions, most of them were just... items I could purchase in ANY Boutique in Tampa. Until I walked into LA Robe. Totally unique fashions, all sizes, styles & great "FINDS" for an out of town-er!
