I was traveling from the Chicago area to Key West Florida on a bicycle come up with my dog. I was lucky enough to pass through this little town and especially this amazing bakery … seriously, it’s one of those treasures, I’m sure it’s been on one of the foodie channels, the owner big just about anything and everything that looks special anything that looks like it supposed to be yummy … and for this little town, it’s just amazing today spread and variety . Better yet, at least for me anyway, this 1400 mile bicycle journey I was in a position of meeting some guidance about where to camp and stay, and the staff there was very much happily engaged tell me about the town, resources, give me a coffee on the house, the whole 9 yards - in fact, it’s because of this location and the people that work there ended up staying in a little town in additional two days, they told me about their annual “lame the next day, which I went to, anyway everything about it was terrific thanks for calling your heart mind and talents, what...

It’s been quite a long time since I’ve experienced racism and discrimination and I unfortunately experienced it here today. I came in between 8:30-9 am on Thursday, April 10. There were 2 older women and 1 younger woman in her 20s, so 3 people total working.

There was 1 woman in front of me with her dog (named Penny) and all of the employees were fawning over the dog and I waited patiently behind her with 2 bottles of water. All 3 employees saw me and knew I was there so the next time part makes no sense to me: another woman came after me and they ended up serving her before me. I was incredibly confused because again, all 3 employees working had seen me and they skipped over me completely to help the white woman who came in after me.

Needless to say, they won’t be having my business and any person of color should be wary of coming here. You should be ashamed of yourself and I hope you don’t impart this behavior on anyone else. Don’t forget, karma will always...
