Aldi saved my life...well at least it saved my grocery budget since the prices of literally everything seem to keep skyrocketing at all my favorite food stores. For what I would normally pay over $350 for at Winn Dixie I can get at Aldi for $185.50, I know this because I just finished shopping at Aldi and I pay very close attention to the grocery expenditures as I cook most of my families meals. Aldi, you may end up monopolizing grocery shopping if you keep up such great value, people soon won't even be able to shop at Walmart and that's already happening for some. I'm so glad I found this store! Ps - bring a quarter for your cart (you'll need it to rent one) and don't be afraid to bring your own insulated or paper bags as well. Yesterday August 10th was my first time since they open in Apopka. I've been living here for 27 years passed by every day and never had a or never gave a chance to see what they offer.. my sister on the other hand she mentioned it to me every time we talk but I never really put attention to it. The prices are good compared to other stores especially if there is a sale.. however, some of the produce does not last in your refrigerator for more than a day or two. I have found that buying bell peppers they only last a couple of days and they come in a pack of three so it's hard to use that in a couple of days time and a lot of their vegetables do not last long at all refrigerated. I cannot call them to find out if they have certain products available so I have to drive over there just to find out that they don't.
