Let's be real Tacos could never get anything less than 3 stars. The place is beautiful and clean. I love the outside sitting area. It has artificial grass, nice tables with umbrellas. The inside has plenty of sitting. We ordered ours to go. However, they give you a number and bring you your food after you have ordered it at the window. They gave us a beeper that was supposed to vibrate when food was ready. It never did. We noticed others that came in after getting food, we ask, and it was ready. My hubby got the street taco. They were loaded with flavor and plentiful. Shells were bigger than regular street tacos. I had the birria tacos. They had so much meat in them I could not eat both. They both came with a green jalapeno sauce that was very spicy but good. They also both came with rice and refried beans. The rice was typical. Bot a fan of the refried beans. They were very watery and runny. I did notice some other people's food while we were waiting. I think next time I will get the carna asada fries.

I've only ever been to the food truck location on Mount Dora, there I was introduced to the birria tacos, for my first time after 30 years and my mind was blown. My boyfriend and I, went to check out the location in Apopka, and I felt like a little kid at Disneyworld. I was overwhelmed, but in the a way I haven't felt in a long time. The staff was amazing and friendly, Braylan helped us and made sure our experience was top tier! The ambience was so beautiful and comforting. Normally I don't ever sit down and eat in tiny restaurants, but we actually sat and ate to enjoy our meal. The attention to detail is beyond remarkable, I noticed they carry both Pepsi and Coke products, how versatile! I have never seen any other restaurant more considerate about their customers! Speed, accuracy, service, ambience, the quality of the food, and over all experience, is mind-blowing. This is a hidden gem!!!!! I am obsessed!

I want to try this place out and missed them them the other night. When I arrived they were closing. So today I made it my business to come for lunch. I got the the three street tacos chicken, beef and pork. I also ordered the chicken quesadillas. Being honest I wasn’t a fan of the street tacos I felt like they were needed more flavor. It could be me but I just wasn’t into them. But the quesadillas was the bomb. Perfect size, perfect take it was just perfect. I ended up just sticking to the quesadilla. The menu had a decent amount to choose from. They even had a wall with pics just in case you needed some help choosing lol. When dining in they will give you a number and have to sit while your food is made. Once done they will bring it to you. They also offer outdoor seating.

I normally don’t rate restaurants unless the service is good. Queso Loco is the rare occasion where I couldn’t simply not say anything. We have eaten here now three times and each time the smell from inside is terrible. They said each time they had just cleaned. Now I’m beginning to realize it’s just their location. Something is leaking or isn’t being cleaned right. The food is ok but nothing to write home about. Decent for the price. The issue mostly is with the wait time. If you order to go you’re fine. If you eat in be prepare even with a tiny wait to have to wait 45 minutes for your food or more. I asked them to do something about it and they just offered me a free cheap drink. Any other restaurant would have given you a free meal at least. They are cheap so what is the issue! So you make your patrons wait 45 minutes when there’s only three other people in the building getting small sides? There’s no excuse for it. They move very slow and with no respect for other people’s time. The people they hire clearly have no people skills or any idea as to what they are doing. It had a lot of potential and I like supporting small businesses. Sadly this is one I cannot support. Not just because of the smell, and lack of customer service which is bad enough, it’s the time I wasted there. I should have just gotten my money back and went somewhere else but they said no manager was there so I couldn’t get my money....

If I am being honest, I truly wish I could rate this place MUCH higher. But I just can’t. My husband and I ordered takeout, and we were really looking forward to trying the food here. I ordered 2 street tacos and one briria taco, some chips, and a side of esquite. Not only were the street tacos bland and lacking flavor, they were so dry we couldn’t chew them. The briria was still pretty plain tasting, but at least the sauce allowed us to swallow the taco and it wasn’t completely dry. The esquite was actually pretty good, but again not a whole lot of flavor in the slightest. The chips were seasoned more than the food was and the chips were also the best part of the entire meal. I would argue that chilis puts more seasoning in their tex mex food than quesa loca uses at all. Additionally, when we went in to pick our food up, there was a strong sewage odor. I am not sure if they had a sewage backup or leak, but they should not have been operating if they did. It was so potent you could smell it from the front door. Overall this was a place I genuinely had high hopes for, and I unfortunately have wasted money. Their receipts say they do not offer refunds, so unless you like dry, flavorless food, please don’t waste your money...

I suggest you go find the food truck because it is 100 times better than the Apopka restaurant. The person who took our order completely messed it up. Told me they had no Birria so I ordered steak. I also ordered shrimp tacos. I got my food the shrimp were brown and disgusting the tacos were very small. I asked him for some consommé sauce he told me only comes with Burrias. I told the lady that they told me they had no Birria so I would still like the sauce. Apparently they completely messed it up and still try to charge me for the sauce. Being charged a couple dollars for the sauce is not the point the point is they completely messed it up and did not even try and fix it but actually try to charge me to fix it. I asked him where my corn was and apparently the person never put the corn on my order either. Manager never came out and try and resolve anything. There is no phone number listed on the website to try and call to speak to somebody. I left all my food there untouched including my drink that I took one sip out of. So disappointed. They should have left Something Fishy there bc they were good. I’ll go find their food truck where the food and service was...
