Burlington — Local services in Apple Valley

I shop at this store often but mostly for clothes. I went there this day not for only clothes , but purchased several other merchandise with two of them in big boxes weighing about roughly 50lbs. First of all there was no sanitary wipes to wipe down the carts when I first picked it up. This is bad especially during Covid 19. I paid for my merchandise and upon existing they had a system that blocks you from existing with their cart, and us I was trying to check what was blocking me ; a guy approaches and says we dont allow the carts outside. I then ask him how then do you expect me to carry all these heavy boxes to my car. He then says I can help you. I was upset, but since he offered to help me I was like it's their policy and if he's willing to help then it's okay. The boxes were big and I was not expecting to carry them to my car from inside the store. As I started unloading my merchandise inside the store for the guy to help next thing I realised he was in the parking lot and nowhere to be found. I had to carry my heavy merchandise from inside the store to my car. I'm a young guy, but it was still inconvenience. I wouldn't have written this review, but what if this was a senior citizen who couldn't carry these big merchandise to their car after purchasing them and was stopped at the door by a system.That will not be good. I work hard for my money and dont deserve to break my back spending it. I will not return to this store. There are other stores with thesame merchandise at great prices where I can have excellent service and have access to a carts to carry my...

This review is on the MANAGEMENT, not the employees. This store is so understaffed that it looks like a thrift store. I take that back, the items on the shelves at Good Will and Savers are at least upright and placed nicely. People are horribly sloppy, customers put things down where ever they can, and always in the wrong place. They knock things on the floor and leave them. Happens at ALL stores, the difference is this store doesn't have the staff available to keep it cleaned up and organized. A week before Christmas I stood in like for almost an hour and a half because the line insane. There were only 3 cashiers and they had no help. Props to them for keeping it together and doing their best. By the time I got to the register the cashier looked at me and said "oh my god, you waited in that line for ONE thing??" I told her I had been looking for it everywhere and couldn't even find it online. This momma was on a mission! That's what I like about this store, it has a very different selection than your Walmarts and Targets. Was in the store today and was really in need to use the restroom for I am pregnant although I had just went at the previous place I was in sometimes you just cannot control your bladder it was very painful walking from the far left end of the building all the way to the front and around through the line they have. When I asked if there was a restroom the lady told me there was no restroom due to Covid although that was three years ago and I haven’t heard of a place that has closed down bathrooms because of Covid. Little kids and elderly would be wet themselves in this store if they had to go bad enough. She was also rude told me to get Life when I told her I think that’s Against code or law. She told me to take it up with corporate office only that is a city issue So I obviously Contacted the city. And the city will more than likely be contacting...
