Ok so 2 days after they opened I downloaded the app and registered and setup my CC card info. I ordered through the app for a pickup order. It worked fine and the food was good. Today I go to order again and the Apple Valley location is nowhere to be found. I searched by both zip code and the city of Apple Valley MN. My closest location was the Eagan location. So I decided to just go to the location and order at the menu board. Not a big deal right? Well it turns out that if you don’t go inside to pay and scan the QR code at the register OR order through the app you will not get rewards points…EVER! So my theory is that the ownership turned off that feature and delisted their location on the app itself due to ??? (Reasons only known to them) So while the food is good you will not earn any rewards points.
So yes I got in touch with corporate and I have a case open and am waiting to hear back. But it’s pretty lame I can’t use the app so that I can go through the drive through and pickup the order like I did during the opening week. Read moreThis lady is ridiculous since she gave me the wrong name I took a pic. Today I took my autistic client, who never gets out, here. I ordered while sitting in the parking lot and he was to go in and get his food with the order #, which is all I normally use. There was an error message, I refresh the page, and it says order submitted. I realized it submitted the order incorrectly. He went in right away to explain but she treated him terribly, she wouldn’t let him explain then told him she can’t give him his order without a name. He’s confused and give my work nickname, she tells him no and sends him away. I go in to try to fix things and she treated me ignorantly when I was trying to explain, she said the order has been filled you take it. But it hadn’t been filled when he told her. Then she rifled through the bag of food for zero reason at all and pushed it towards me, while I’m texting support on their home page. Read moreOn Mother's Day evening around 6 PM, I decided to try Popeye's Kitchen for the first time, placing an order through their app. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired.
Arriving 40 minutes after placing my order, I found about twenty people waiting inside for their orders, and my family meal was not ready. Despite the significant wait time, the staff seemed overwhelmed and unorganized. The young, seemingly inexperienced staff at the counter appeared frazzled, and while there were numerous people working in the back, efficiency was lacking.
I had to inquire several times about the status of my order, resulting in an additional fifteen-minute wait before finally receiving my food.
Overall, while I understand that high demand can be challenging, especially on busy occasions like Mother's Day, the lack of preparation and communication from the staff at Popeye's Kitchen was disappointing. I hope future visits will reflect improvements in...
