Del Taco — Restaurant in Apple Valley

Ive always have loved coming here for a yummy fast m eal..altho not authentic mexican food lots of chouces... I'm not much of a meat eater so I like that their food has a little bit of meat and beans and some vegetables and cheese and I recently visited their competitor the other. American taco place De* taco....did not enjoy the food and it was expensive compared to Taco Bell...and you had to pay extra f o r queso( cheese) at D** Taco ridiculous!!! ... anyways I stopped here after picking up my mom's medicine and I wasn't planning this stop it was my mom that got the craving I was really happy to see that they had their cinnamon Crispies back and when we got in we ordered a $5 box and then my mom wanted something else I was digging through my purse for change at the end of December so I was Lon cash I didn't have my credit cards with me and the girl is very nice to offer a senior discount since I was buying food for my mom which I didn't expect I was just going to take my items off the menu and buy food for my mom and I just thought that that was very sweet of her to troubleshoot the situation for me and make it less embarrassing and awkward then it could have been so I appreciate the staff I appreciate their Quick Service I appreciate the food and I appreciate everything about Taco Bell 👍LOL I used to be a preschool teacher and one of the little girls would come in every day would have breakfast and it was really cute one day I asked her where she got her food from and she called it the ding dong store and I just looked at her dad and he said Taco Bell and he made the Bells traced a bell with his fingers so it made sense it was really cute so ever since then I also call it the ding...

THE WORST DEL TACO HERE ON PLANET EARTH

This Del Taco is a total disaster. The manager, Jeff, has failed to do his job, time and again, and he continues to refuse to do his job. He was made aware of his worker's very negative behavior, years ago, and has done nothing to correct it. Now, instead of taking any corrective action, they are trying to lie their way out of it.

I have not been at this Del Taco in months, due to all of this negative behavior. On 3/11/2016, I went inside and ordered two Tacos and an Ice Tea. I stood at the counter waiting to ask for some lemon.

The girls just stood there, ignoring me, and giggling like a bunch of teenagers.

1 They ignore you - at this point you are a non-human.

2 They can't hear you - you are still a non-human

3 Now, they can barely hear you - you have graduated to a sub-human status.

4 Now, you ask a little louder, hoping they can hear you - No, you are still a sub-human.

5 Again, you ask a little louder, hoping they can hear you - No, you are still a sub-human.

6 Now, you are talking too loud - now you are a sub-human who must removed for talking too loud.

7 At this point, these people are not even being reasonable. They have completely lost it.

The workers at this Del Taco treat their customers like non-humans/sub-humans - with as much hate, disrespect, and contempt, as possible. Dogs and cats have better behavior than the workers at this Del Taco. Apparently, they are working full-time on their egos at everyone else's expense. It doesn't get any worse than this.

Avoid at all costs...

Horrible service today! Went to order was told they didn’t have any chicken. Was told it was being made. I said I would wait. They said about 5-10 minutes. No problem. Ordered nacho cheese, was told they were out. Then asked us how much ice we wanted because the soda machine and ice were broken. The girl takes our cups to the back and drops them on the floor. She picked them up and we are unsure if they were replaced by new cups or she just filled the ones that fell. After paying, the shift lead or manager jumped the girl who took our order and made a scene about to never tell a customer how long it will be before chicken is ready and if any other customers order it just tell them they don’t have any. She really made us feel uncomfortable. Upon getting our food, salt was need for fries, there wasn’t any in the counter top container so we asked. We asked and staff insinuated that we were lying and that it should be on the counter. When we told them again, the girl taking orders rolled her eyes and said there should be some. The chicken we waited 10 minutes for was cold and not fresh. So why were we told it was being made? It was all around rude by all staff behind the counter. The restaurant was dirty, food on the floor, tables were disgusting. We will never return to this location. Their staff needs a refresher course in how to be kind and pleasant to customers and they need to hire more dining room staff to keep the place clean. Shame on...
