Laney who wears glasses, dons a dated 80's hairstyle, and works in returns is an unbelievably appalling employee. I came into the store to return 7 items. Just seven. I had my sales receipt, and to be fair some of the tags had been taken off of some of the items but were all included in the shopping bag. She became extremely flustered and irate, began cursing, kicking and throwing the items around for being so inconvenienced and began speaking to me as if i committed some egregious crime. There was a full line of customers behind me, some of which whom were children that witnessed this insane behavior. It was so bad that her coworker had to verbally calm this woman down. Needless to say NO paying customer should ever be treated in such a manner, regardless of the circumstance. If management has any doubt of my claims they should review the video footage and speak to the other employee who was working at the returns counter on Wed Mar 13 around 230pm. My family and I will NEVER be shopping at this location again and I will be sure to take this up with the district manager and corporate. This lunatic has no business working in the customer service...
Read moreKohl's can be an exasperating place to shop at Christmas, long lines, piles of merch due to not enough sales help etc. BUT--- if you shop at the Appleton Northland Store hopefully you will be checked out or otherwise assisted by Esther. What an amazing cheerful, personable, helpful, fast associate. This little lady was the only one in customer service and the line had at least 30 shoppers waiting to return, exchange, purchase all quantities of items. She NEVER stopped smiling, every customer was greeted with a smile & a "thank you so much for waiting, I'm so sorry about the line today." She was the one that held everyone's attitudes in check, she just radiated kindness, patience and I was so impressed. When she was thanked she always said "No, thank you! If you didn't stop in today I wouldn't have a job. I appreciate you shopping at Kohl's" Wow, just Wow, Esther you are the...
Read moreI bought a couple of pairs of Nike Basketball soxs on clearance for $7.00 each along with other items. When I look at the receipt later in the day I was charged $8.40, not a big deal, but I needed to go back to have them remove a security tag from a pair of pants I bought anyway that they didn't remove at the register. I should add it was 25% off day, plus I had $10 Kohls cash and $45 reward money that applied against my original receipt. The way I figured it I should have gotten total of $2.80 back for the overcharge, 2 x $1.40. After standing at the service desk for 20 minutes with the woman trying to figure out how to refund it she credited my charge card $3.73, but then I had to pay her $3.71. So I got $.02 credit. I was so frustrated I just left couldn't believe a complete waste of my time. CHECK YOUR...
