ARCADIA VICTORIA'S SECRET STORE
I looked up the hours online and learned this store is open until 9:00 p.m. I drove to the store, across town because there is no longer a store in Pasadena. I arrived at the store at about 7:55 and proceeded to spend 15 minutes perusing the store and filling my arms with about 20 lingerie "outfit" options. I just wanted something new and pretty and sexy. They had a good selection and I even stopped to ask a salesperson about sizing. I proceeded to the dressing room with 50 minutes left until the store closed and a girl behind the counter told me that the dressing room was "already closed." I had my arms full of beautiful expensive options, and I repeated the words "already closed" with a questioning tone. She confirmed that the dressing room was closed. All my efforts to get there after work and do so on time with over an hour to shop and try on, and I couldn't try anything on and therefore bought nothing. Their loss (did you hear that VS corporate?), because the things in my arms were expensive and beautiful...I was treating myself for the first time in a while. I will never go to this location again...that is ridiculous! A customer with their arms full of beautiful lingerie, ready to buy something, who clearly made an effort to get there in the last hour before they close, but NOPE, I couldn't even try anything on WITH 50 MINUTES LEFT BEFORE CLOSING! I've never been so incredulous at the ridiculousness of a SALESperson. (For that matter, as someone who has worked retail, the fact I had to seek out a salesperson before anyone even said hello, greeted me, or asked if they could help me is beyond what I would expect in customer SERVICE.) Zero stars is what I would prefer to give this store for these reasons. I hope corporate sees this, and tells these sales people how to better do the one job they have - TO SELL THINGS. Read moreLong lines and got overcharged... buying a lingerie set, pajama set and perfume for Christmas presents, got charged more than double on one of my purchases and had to wait even longer for them to fix it. $35 difference. Lucky me I checked my receipt before leaving b/c I never would've gone back knowing the lines are that long.
Only positive was Michael who helped me on the floor and even went to the back room to find the size I needed. I got ignored by everyone else in the staff. And then I got in line and the trouble began.
GUYS: do yourself a favor & shop online to avoid the store. We have no idea what size she wears anyway, so save yourself the aggravation. I'm sure the website has some sort of sizing tool to help with that. It better have.
My rating: 5 stars for Michael + 1 star for everything else = averages out to 3 stars. Minus 1 star for the extra wait, final score: 2 stars. Can't do better than that. Maybe I'll change my rating depending on whether or not she likes...
Read moreCustomer service doesn’t have a standard. Most the assistants are nice and helpful there with sizes and needs. But there a few are very rude, lack of training and don’t know what to say properly in handling issues. Today I went to try on few things, no one is help in the fitting room. Customers who needed help found no one when they went out. And the line got long in front of the fitting room when few rooms were available because I saw more than four people went out. I asked one of the assistant and she told me she is not in charge of that. I waited five more minutes and asked again if I could get help to find the one who is in charge of opening the fitting room. She said yea but there was another young lady came from the cashier and said she is helping someone else you need to be patient. What a bad management and bad...
