"UPDATE" 9/1/2023 After getting our new car and having it for almost a month, my wife and I started getting letters from credit companies stating they couldn't approve our loan for Carter County Hyundai. NOTE I told him "Randy White" that he can run our credit 1 ONE time and if it doesn't go threw then that is it.But I didn't want my credit score ran down by them running it threw a bunch of times just to find the lower rate or to try to get us approved! Well over the last month we have got 12 REJECTIONS LETTERS FROM PLACES THEY DID CREDIT CHECKS ON US AT. SO THIS WAS 24 TIMES BETWEEN THE WIFE AND I. It knocked our credit score down 35 points on my credit and 33 points on my wifes. When I called they said that it shouldn't have hurt our credit by running it 3 or 4 times. I told them I agree, but when you run it 12 times then it DOES HURT your credit score. It hits it 2 points for each time it is ran. Then they tried to say because of the fact we got the new car it would lower it to. Which I understand that too. But when I got all these letters and told them I had them they said they would have the GM give me a call. Well as you can guess, Yes I never got that call!!! So I figured I would on in and changed my post on here instead. So if you go in there and you tell them to not run your credit more then 1 time get ready because they don't tell you but they run it until they find some one who can finance you but if not then they just killed your credit score from what you had been working on. I had to buy from them because of how many times they ran our credit. If I would of went to any other lot they would have probably done the same thing. So we went ahead and got the car from here. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE NOW. THEY LIED TO US FROM THE VERY MOMENT WE GOT THERE. They had a truck on FB for a great price but when we got there they said "oh it just sold this morning". So had a friend go by and ask about it a few days later and he was told the same thing. But they post has been up for 2 months. We have had bad luck these few times with other car dealerships, BUT..Mr. Randy White made us feel at home. When we got out of the truck the first thing he asked was if we wanted anything to drink since it was hot outside. We truly are happy that showed us a lot right there. As we went inside they opened the door for us and made us feel right at home. Randy walked us into his office to gather information what we are looking for. We explained our situation and he "WROTE" it down and that showed us how well kept and organized he is. As we spoked about my fiancés needs in a truck and the type of package deals he is inquiring Randy asked about me. He knew of the situation and expressed his concerns and was very up front. I really liked that how he approached us one by one and he followed a very professional pattern this is what makes us feel very proud of our purchase. Randy told us about the deals going on, they gave us the information on many vehicles. I was not feeling most of them but he then knew what I was looking for. He send our information to the bank and instantly he came back with the approval. It didn't take long and much for Randy. He is a outstanding sales guy and so is his team. They are very upbeat and complex there. I have seen a lot of bad experience but from our sales I don't believe most of them. My fiancé has had a lot of great luck with Carter County Hyundai and this is his third vehicle from them. After we agreed on price and the promise notes "what we want done with the vehicles." Randy made us an appointment to get our vehicles done the way we wanted on them. He called us the very next day and told us that he has loner cars for us and he picked them up. Read moreThe crews are friendly and awesomely fast in response. However, they didn't give me a good deal. I talked through the phone with Clay, the saleman, and we went over pre-approval. I asked them if they could grant me more discount on the 2015 new Genesis coupe ultimate which was $29,950 on the website (this is crazily expensive; even 2016 brand new offer $28,900). Clay told me that Robert had asked me to come by there dealer and they will give me a Heck-Of-A-Deal. Yes, they finally gave me $300 more discount on that web-price. (OMG....) I traded in a very good condition 2009 Honda Accord and they only give me $4000 for it. One thing I have to say: that manual transmission + the genesis coupe model + that price is "a stay there forever" for any Hyundai dealer. I wanted to take that nail away from them, and they still wanna make big profit on it. I drove 5hrs there just to get $300 more discount.I accepted the bad deal even with the ripped-off feeling cause this dealership is the only place accept my High-risk status with low % down payment. SUM OF THE WRITING: I got the car I had dreamed about, the crews are very friendly, very helpful, and very fast in response, and I got my pocket ripped off.
Out-Office service? Well, They detailed my new car very poor. I can even detail better than them myself. There are soap marks left on the windshield, Leather seats are not 100% treated with conditioner (some area has, some don't) as well as the non-leather interior, the exterior is not waxed, and I found a big scratch on the rim.
Keep in mind that the price they put on website is not DRIVE-OUT price because I have to pay registration tax by myself (I live in Texas, probably why).
