The store has gone downhill. They were doing okay for a while despite all the issues with keeping items in stock, going in the morning was a little hit and miss with people attitudes and drinks but going in the evening was always a pleasant experience. Now you can tell something is wrong. I don't know if it's the summer holidays, them being out of stuff or something going on behind the scenes at a management level but everyone is just miserable. Coming in to get drinks before work feels like walking into a bomb site, my drink is made incorrectly nearly every time and I'm losing money from it, and coming in after work for a treat or a tea everyone just seems absolutely miserable to be working there. They're very nice to me and other customers but you can tell something is off and they're always running to get things done, and a couple of the new people aren't up to standard either. It makes me sad just to go inside now, I don't know what happened, but I miss the Starbucks that cracked jokes when taking orders and felt like a fun place for them to work. Read moreFor some reason, the Starbucks in Ardmore, OK has trouble receiving mobile orders for food/bakery items. As if this wasn’t inconvenient enough, when you try to get someone’s attention they ignore you or tell you to go wait in line for the register. Once you get the cashier to acknowledge that part of the order is missing, it takes about 30 minutes to get the food. This defeats the purpose of the mobile order all together. If this were an isolated incident I wouldn’t have a problem. But this has happened to me 3 times since the remodel so at this point I just feel foolish trying to order anything. If you want Starbucks this is the only location in town. And whoever snide woman is with the long hair and glasses, she should not be allowed to interact with customers. A customer should not be chastised for asking that they get the order they paid for in entirety. I found myself apologizing as I left and then felt even more dissatisfied. I'm editing my original review because I must express my love and gratitude for this location and the staff they have. If i could mention everyone in there on a name basis it still wouldn't do it justice. These people are family to me. Literally. The love and bond is nothing short of beautiful. Powerful. Genuine. Pure. Sometimes in life we need to be reminded that we are all humans with emotions. Not only does this family serve people coffee, they offer serve warmth, hospitality, and reassurance. The love in this place is undeniable. I really feel blessed to have made such great connections with this staff. I love and appreciate you all.
