A&B Muffler shop # 22 — Local services in Arlington

Walked in 2 tailpipes for expanding to fit the muffler ends on a truck project in a different shop. Rude shop owner sez he need the vehicle.I explained my vehicle was tied up and all was needed was his expansion machine work. After 2 minutes of back and forth , I simply turned and left. He and son ran outside behind me in a threatening manner to argue that I am being mean. I went in for a quick simple routine job, was refused service, I was leaving to find service elsewhere and they run out to start a fight over a $10.00 repair they never attempted. Need a muffler came out looked under my truck. Let me say there was no other cars or trucks n shop beside what im thinking they had a Personel vehicle n last bay. Did not pull my truck n on hoist or anything laid under it in Parking lot came bk out an told me 250.00 an ontop of Quote they dont even have Muffler tell me would have to Order. Its a Pepboys right next Door. I asked how much would it b if i go next door n buy muffler . yngman go over open a door ask another sitting n bk n Shade. He only Speaking Spanish. So my 2002 Ford F150 catalytic converters (up and down stream) went out in June 2020. I was recommended this place for quick turn on replacing catalytic converters. Well the original cats from 2002 were what failed 18 years later. The "brand new" cats they installed have disintegrated and caused more damage to my exhaust system and this is March 2023, so how does cat technology from 2002 last 18 years, and newer tech from 2020 last less than 3? Either way the $380 cats I bought, have now cost me over $2,500 in repairs and replacement cats, I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE OR BE BACK...
