Davinci's Painting — Local services in Arlington

I needed to hire a painting contractor for a last minute job. I spoke to no less than ten painting companies in the Washington DC area and was immediately impressed with Ken's responsiveness. We discussed my needs and the scope of the project and he was very detailed about his approach and all of the preparation steps.

The job began with Ken's crew showing up on time to prepare the rooms to be painted. They were absolutely thorough and their attention to detail was above and beyond anything that I had ever experienced before. The painters covered all of my furniture and wood floors with drop cloths and plastic sheathing to avoid any spills.

They did an amazing job and even did more than the original estimate by doing some extra touch ups on the last day in another area of my house. I was also impressed about how well they had cleaned my house when they were finished. By the time that they were done, the house was cleaner than when they actually started!

Ken called a few days after the job was finished to make sure everything went well and I thought that was very professional. I really appreciate his genuine concern about my satisfaction. He even helped me with my purchases for additional paint and allowed me to use his contractor discount. I couldn't be more pleased with this company and will most definitely be recommending them to people...

I contacted this company because if their expertise in dealing with extensive exterior painting projects. I had seen their trucks downtown in the city and I wanted to reach out to see if they could provide me with an estimate for the painting of our 3 story single family home that was mainly stucco. Herbert came out on a weekend and he was able to see the scope of our work. We have been dealing with sections of the stucco falling apart. He told me about a special type of Sherwin Williams primer that was part of their marine division. He advised me that this would be the most durable primer that I should use for my exterior stucco. We also talked about some peeling issues that we were having with the wood trim. He spent a good half hour discussing the various options. He then printed out the estimate, and the price seemed very reasonable compared with some of the other quotes that I had received over the summer. I did my research and gave Herbert a call to schedule the job. They were able to start the power wash the very same week,and the preparation and priming took place a few days later. Paul was able to schedule my job with a week which worked out great for us, because we wanted to have the work done before we actually moved into the house.
