Avoid This Building at All Costs
I live at Rosslyn Towers and am having a terrible experience with management and overall living conditions. The biggest issue is the constant, excessive construction noise that makes the apartment nearly unlivable during regular hours. This has been going on for months with no meaningful resolution from management.
Despite multiple complaints, management’s only response is to acknowledge the noise but do nothing to fix it. Under Virginia law, tenants can break a lease if the living conditions become uninhabitable, but they refuse to honor this and dismiss my valid claims. They insist I have no right to leave without penalty, even though they fail to resolve the problem.
When I ask for fair options, their “solution” is to either move to another unit at a higher rent or accept their strict move-out term, completely ignoring their failure to maintain a livable environment. Communication is slow and unhelpful, and they show no genuine concern for tenants' rights or comfort.
If you’re looking for a place where management listens and respects its residents, this is not it. The building is fine, but how they handle problems makes it not worth the stress. Additionally, there is excessive noise from 8 am to 4 pm almost daily, even on Saturdays.
Disregard the building's reply below.
Their reply is highly misleading and disingenuous. The reality is that management has repeatedly dismissed residents' concerns and has made it clear that there is nothing we can do about the ongoing issues. Your claim of taking feedback seriously contradicts the actual experience of tenants who have been met with indifference and inaction.
The on-site management team has been unhelpful when it comes to anything beyond leasing and has admitted they have no information about the construction timeline. In fact, when I inquired last week, a leasing agent explicitly stated, "We don’t know anything about the construction or when it will be finished." Meanwhile, I have confirmed with a county representative that the construction permits are open-ended, meaning the project is likely to extend beyond fall 2025 and could last into spring 2026 due to inevitable delays.
I have reached out multiple times with further questions and concerns, yet nothing has been done to address them. If you truly prioritized resident satisfaction, you would provide transparent communication and viable solutions instead of empty reassurances.
For anyone considering living here: If you value peace, quiet, and responsive management, do not move into this building. The living conditions and treatment of tenants make it an entirely unacceptable place to call home.

Read moreAfter selling my condo, I spent nearly two months searching for the perfect apartment. The process was daunting—not only was I hesitant about renting again, but I was also unsure about moving into a high-rise building. I toured at least ten different properties in the area, trying to find a place that felt right. While some had impressive amenities and attractive locations, none of them came close to offering what Rosslyn Towers does.
First and foremost, the location is unbeatable. Being able to walk into Georgetown in less than ten minutes is an incredible perk, and the stunning views only add to the appeal. The amenities are top-notch, making daily life here feel effortless and enjoyable. But what truly sets Rosslyn Towers apart is the people.
From my very first inquiry, Zach went above and beyond to make the application and leasing process smooth. He was incredibly accommodating, ensuring everything moved quickly so I could get settled without stress. His professionalism and efficiency made a world of difference, and I genuinely can't thank him enough for making my transition so easy.
Beyond that, the entire staff at Rosslyn Towers is exceptional:
Trent is an absolute prince—always courteous and ready to assist. Corey is the definition of a gentleman, professional and welcoming. Rashid is incredibly kind and helpful, making every interaction pleasant. Elizabeth is consistently friendly and warm, always greeting residents with a smile. Luke is super helpful, willing to go the extra mile whenever needed. And I can’t forget the maintenance team, who are just as outstanding. They’re responsive, efficient, and genuinely care about keeping everything in top shape.
Moving can be a stressful experience, but living at Rosslyn Towers has made it feel like home from day one. The combination of an unbeatable location, excellent amenities, and an amazing team makes this place truly special. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for not just an apartment, but...

My roommate and I moved in to the building in 2024. Since that time, there has been consistent construction (drilling and hammering) directly above our unit. This noise generally starts around 7 - 7:30 AM and finishes around 3-4 PM. There has been noise on weekends and holidays (most recently President’s day). We’ve reached out to neighbors and confirmed they are experiencing this as well.
We inquired with management multiple times about the problem and were promised timelines that were never met (e.g. "two more weeks", "should be done soon", etc.). After months of frustration, we sat down with management to discuss and were told the following during the conversation:
Ownership will not provide any concessions to us for the noise. This includes allowing us to move to a vacant unit where the noise is not an issue. If we want the problem fixed, we should sign another 12 month lease for a more expensive apartment somewhere else in the building. Or, we can wait until our current lease is up and move out.
That’s how they treat their tenants who pay rent on time and keep their unit in good condition.
Would not recommend living in this building if you expect any of the following: A quiet living space in your apartment unit The ability to work from home with no noise If you plan to sleep past 7am on a...
