A neat, hidden, above ground park. I discovered this place when I used to play Pokemon go and found it absolutely fascinating and oddly beautiful. It’s mostly a suspended walkway over a couple roads and overtop a building or 2 but it is masterfully landscaped to the point where it feels kinda like a Cyberpunk Garden with some pretty nice views of the city. You kinda have to look for it but it is actually not that far a walk from the metro. I definitely recommend this area if you want a unique little stroll or if you want an interesting photographic backdrop for cosplay, particularly anything Cyberpunk. Read moreFreedom Park is a kind of elevated walkway that is located behind the ABC 7 building and has a variety of plants to enjoy as you walk through it. You are also able to look across the Potomac and have a nice view of the National Mall. It is a nice place to sit and eat and/or relax if you're in the area, while having a great view of DC; planes fly relatively close overhead, as Reagan National Airport is only a few miles away, which can be noisy, but it's not too loud to where you wouldn't be able to enjoy yourself and relax.
