This is great facility and only exists because of the hard work and generosity of local dog lovers who recognized the great need for such a park in its increasingly densely populated neighborhood. The park has its own local sponsorship organization which raises money to help maintain the park as well as put on neighborhood events such as a dog Halloween party. The folks that regularly use the park are very friendly and it's a great place to meet people who live in the neighborhood. Read moreA great size for the area and fantastic to have dog park nearby! The space is fairly well kept with good fencing and gates. Free waste bags are available all over the park and plenty of seating spaced nicely out. Two sides are available, the larger side for large dogs and a smaller side for small dogs. For those driving to this location, there isn't much parking locally, but otherwise it's in a nice spot within Gateway Park.

Be prepared for your dog to get a parasite here. Also mushrooms grow here and dogs dig them up and eat them and make them sick.
