I was quite appalled and taken by surprise when I had been asked the 7th time by 9 different employees if I needed help finding anything I am not that specific location often I however my work schedule had me in tbe area for an event that hired the com p any i work for to be present for an event in that area I may have looked a little tired but I know what a desperate person fueled by addiction carries themselves I have been down that road and when I was at a low point in my life I do not recall ever stealing or attempting to steal from any local Kohls locations I was trying to pick out gifts for a friend for her birthday which she suffered some hardships and lost everything from an abusive relationship so I was looking at clothes I checked out some sweaters and goodies and noticed that they were locked and I didn't bother any employee to unlock anything because I would have been there for hours so while I was looking at shirts and socks I was approached again by an employee that had literally just spoke to me 5 minutes prior upon entering the store I was looking at duffle bags, so he wanted to know if I needed help with the sizes of pre boxed plain t shirts there waw literally 5 choices... while I was just brain storming on what to get her I could not help but notice every section I was in there n behold employees stairing at me looking at me then looking at each other MIND YOU NOT I DIDNT EVEN HAVE A BACK PACK ON OR MY OWN SHOPPING BAGS for that matter the shoe section was my final stop when this same male employee approaches me again while another employee and not the onty shoe boxes off of the shelf wondering if I had to take the box to the front to get shoes and no it was simply because of shoplifters ... so I asked if they had any size 8 by chance the employee kindly checked and said no so I just straight up left at that point talk about harassment and a poor judge of character my hair could have been some what imperfect because I rode my motorcycle Including a helmet which I had not carried in with me. It's not always the exhausted customer coming in after work that wants to deprive kohls of there stuff.... had a complex about myself on my home and brought up a few things like being bullied when I was younger was kind of what that experience with this stores staff, I understand we all have a job to do but to cause a human beings feel they were doing something wrong is a form of mental abuse I much would have rather been asked kindly p0I am curious to what the on boarding process is like I mean in training if a robber comes in with a gun are Kohls are employees supposed to appoach the robber and ask if he needs help finding anything? I will ask what kohls employees are supposed to do in that situation I can only guess that calling 911 will be the answer which is what any other franchise would do if there was enough suspicious behavior that a state law js being broken.... Harassment is a misdemeanor, Stalking is a misdemeanor in some cases it can be a felony just something that should be brought up in a team meeting. If there is this bad of a theft issue I know Allied Security does both armed and unarmed security... being that I am an employee I will have someone get in contact to see if Kohls is in need of an outside security company. Take care and what's that old saying about a book...
Read moreThis is not about the store itself, but about a service provided by the store, namely the EV charging. It used to be free, now, unexpectedly it's a paid service. My understanding is that they have solar panels on the roof to support this program. Typically these installations are funded by some grant. So, why there is cost for this service now? If this is truly to recover their cost, I understand it, but having to pay more then 8x what you would pay the Power company doesn't feel reasonable. To make it worse, you have to pay by the time of being connected instead of how much energy was delivered to the car. Different cars accept different delivery speed. On top of that you continue to pay after the car's battery is full, until you unplug the car. You have to interrupt your shopping to go outside unplug your car and move it to another parking space. This is equivalent to paying for the gas after you stop pumping, until you return the distributor to the pump, and paying for how long it takes you to pump instead of how much gas you pumped. Needless to say, Kohl's you lost a customer. I will not be shopping at...
Read moreLots of choices, always good prices, friendly clerks at checkout. I like the store and think they have good merchandise at fair prices. I rarely shop there because the items I want are in a disorganized jumble, and I don't have the ability to dig around on the floor for what I want. The negatives are the lack of mid-range sizes (12, 14, and 16) in Women's pants and the complete disarray in Women's clothing. Pants were just randomly folded and stacked/shoved onto shelves once you went behind the area facing the general walkway through the store. Shelving goes all the way down to the floor. Since I have to dig around for sizes, that literally means I have to kneel down to pull out the stacks of pants on the shelf that is floor height. No Kohl's help in site. Clerks on the sales floor are invisible. Make employees wear nametags or something identifiable so I know who to ask if I need assistance. I assume the two ladies in the general area talking about merchandising worked there, but they never offered...
